SEO Specialist

This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for an SEO Specialist based in India.

This is an opportunity for an experienced SEO professional to take full ownership of search engine optimization strategies for international clients across diverse industries and markets. In this remote, contract-to-hire role, you will manage the entire SEO lifecycle, from strategy development and implementation to performance monitoring and reporting. You will work across on-page, off-page, and technical SEO, supporting lead generation, local search, and e-commerce initiatives. Your work will directly contribute to organic traffic growth, stronger keyword rankings, and improved conversion outcomes. The role offers significant autonomy, with an emphasis on practical expertise, data-driven decisions, and efficient workflows powered by AI and automation tools. Immediate availability is required.

Accountabilities:
- Own the complete SEO lifecycle, including planning, execution, performance monitoring, optimization, and reporting.

- Develop and implement tailored SEO strategies for international clients across different industries, markets, and business objectives.

- Execute on-page, off-page, and technical SEO initiatives to improve website visibility, organic traffic, and search performance.

- Manage lead generation SEO projects, focusing on keyword ranking improvements, qualified traffic growth, and conversion outcomes.

- Oversee Local SEO activities, including Google Business Profile optimization, as well as SEO initiatives for e-commerce websites.

- Build and maintain a consistent, quality-focused link-building pipeline to strengthen website authority and search visibility.

- Monitor keyword rankings, website traffic, and technical SEO health, identifying issues and implementing corrective actions.

- Use Google Analytics, Google Search Console, and other relevant SEO tools to measure performance, analyze results, and recommend improvements.

- Leverage AI and automation tools for keyword research, content planning, data analysis, reporting, and workflow optimization.

- Independently manage projects from strategy through execution, ensuring progress and results with minimal supervision.

Requirements:

- At least 3 years of hands-on SEO experience, with the ability to independently manage SEO projects end to end.

- Strong practical knowledge of on-page, off-page, and technical SEO principles and implementation.

- Proven experience managing lead generation SEO projects with measurable traffic, ranking, and conversion objectives.

- Hands-on experience with Local SEO, including Google Business Profile optimization, and e-commerce SEO.

- Proficiency in Google Analytics and Google Search Console for performance tracking and analysis.

- Strong expertise in keyword research, competitive analysis, SEO audits, and strategy development.

- Substantial practical experience using AI and SEO automation tools beyond basic chatbot interactions, particularly for research, analysis, reporting, and process efficiency.

- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills, with the ability to identify opportunities and translate insights into actionable improvements.

- A proactive, results-oriented approach and the ability to take complete ownership of projects while working independently.

- Willingness to work remotely using a personal device.
