SEO And Marketplace Executive (WFH)

About the job:
We're looking for a sharp, curious digital marketer to deliver growth across SEO & and marketplace channels. This is a fully remote role, perfect for someone self-motivated and comfortable working independently.

You'll be responsible for optimizing our website for traditional search engines and emerging AI search platforms (ChatGPT, Google AI Overviews, etc.), while also managing and growing our listings on marketplaces like NOTHS, Cratejoy, or similar platforms. This is a great opportunity for someone starting their career in digital marketing/e-commerce who wants hands-on experience with modern SEO, AI search optimization, and marketplace operations.

Key Responsibilities:

A. SEO (Traditional and AI Search)

1. Conduct keyword research and assist with on-page SEO, including meta titles, descriptions, alt tags, and URL structure.

2. Support content optimization for blog posts and product pages.

3. Monitor website rankings, traffic, and performance using tools such as Google Search Console and Google Analytics.

4. Assist with basic technical SEO audits, including broken links, site speed, and indexing issues.

5. Help build backlinks through outreach and directory submissions.

6. Research and apply AI SEO and Generative Engine Optimization (GEO) practices to improve visibility in AI-powered search results, including ChatGPT, Perplexity, Google AI Overviews, and Gemini.

7. Structure content and metadata, including schema markup, FAQs, and clear headings, to make it easily readable and citable by AI crawlers and LLMs.

8. Stay updated on evolving AI search algorithms and adjust content strategy accordingly.

B. Marketplace Management

1. Create, update, and optimize product listings on marketplaces.

2. Monitor listing performance, pricing, and competitor activity.

3. Ensure product titles, images, descriptions, and keywords are optimized for marketplace search algorithms.

4. Coordinate with the operations team for stock updates, order issues, and returns.

5. Track marketplace-specific metrics, including visibility, conversion rate, and reviews/ratings, and report performance.

- Required:
- 1. 0–1 year of experience in SEO, digital marketing, or e-commerce (internships count).

- 4. Curiosity about AI search tools (ChatGPT, Gemini) and how content gets surfaced in them.
- 5. Familiarity with tools like Google Analytics, Google Search Console.
- 6. Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- 7. Self-disciplined with the ability to manage time and meet deadlines while working remotely.
- 8. Good written communication skills for async collaboration (notion, email, etc.).
- 9. Reliable internet connection and a personal laptop/desktop.
- Preferred:
- 1. Prior experience/internship with marketplace CRM.
- 2. Exposure to schema markup, structured data, or content formatting for AI/LLM readability. - 3. Basic knowledge of Excel/Google Sheets for reporting.
- 4. Prior experience working remotely.
- 5. Interest in books, reading, or the D2C/e-commerce space.
