Senior Software Engineer (Go lang /ASP.Net Core)

This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a Senior Software Engineer (Go lang / ASP.Net Core) based in India.

This role focuses on building and operating modern software solutions for critical frontline safety workflows used across global operations.
You will contribute to backend systems and cloud infrastructure designed to solve complex real-world problems at significant scale.
The position combines hands-on software development with architecture, distributed systems, DevOps, and production operations.
You will work extensively with Go, C#, ASP.NET Core, microservices, Kubernetes, Azure, messaging, and cloud-native technologies.

Accountabilities:
- Design, develop, test, and maintain scalable backend software using Go and C# with ASP.NET Core.

- Apply Domain-Driven Design principles and contribute to microservice-oriented architectures.

- Build and maintain cloud-native services using Kubernetes, Docker Compose, REST APIs, gRPC, Protocol Buffers, and SignalR.

- Develop solutions using message queues, publish/subscribe messaging, Redis, and event-driven architectures.

- Implement offline synchronization and replication capabilities for distributed environments.

- Develop Windows services for standalone and monolithic deployment scenarios when required.

- Work with event-sourced data architectures and CQRS patterns.

- Implement secure authentication and authorization using OAuth 2.0 and OpenID Connect.

- Develop and operate solutions across Azure services, including AKS, Cosmos DB for MongoDB, Azure Service Bus, Azure Storage, Application Gateway, Azure Cache for Redis, and Notification Hubs.

- Support cloud infrastructure and DevOps practices, including infrastructure as code using tools such as Terraform.

- Implement and maintain monitoring and observability using Prometheus, OpenTelemetry, Grafana, Azure Monitor, and Log Analytics.

- Apply production monitoring and operational best practices to ensure system reliability and performance.

- Take ownership of technical problems, proactively identify blockers, and drive solutions through to completion.

- Develop customer-focused solutions that are intuitive and practical for frontline users.

- Contribute high-quality code, well-documented pull requests, technical proposals, and design documentation.

- Review peer contributions through pull requests and code walkthroughs while supporting engineering quality.

- Use AI-assisted coding tools effectively and take full responsibility for reviewing, validating, and improving AI-generated output.

- Reassess technical decisions when circumstances change and adapt solutions as systems and requirements evolve.

Requirements:

- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or another relevant technical discipline.

- 7+ years of professional software development experience spanning backend engineering, cloud infrastructure, and large-scale systems.

- Strong hands-on experience with Go and/or C# with ASP.NET Core, with the ability to contribute productively from day one.

- Solid understanding of Domain-Driven Design, microservices, distributed systems, and cloud-native application architecture.

- Experience with Kubernetes, Docker Compose, REST APIs, gRPC, Protocol Buffers, SignalR, messaging systems, and Pub/Sub architectures.

- Strong knowledge of Redis, event sourcing, CQRS, offline synchronization, and replication concepts.
