Senior Software Engineer

- Design, develop, maintain, and support multiple mission-critical cloud platform components that enable Ford ’s connected vehicle capabilities. - Own end-to-end delivery of software services powering critical customer experiences, as well as the platform infrastructure that supports them. - Act as a domain owner for critical services, proactively identifying and mitigating risks, leading root-cause analysis for high-severity incidents, and driving long-term reliability, observability, and performance improvements across the platform. - Provide technical leadership and architectural guidance for complex, distributed systems within the device connectivity platform, influencing design decisions, setting engineering standards, and ensuring solutions are scalable, resilient, and secure. - Mentor other engineers, contribute to technical reviews, knowledge sharing, and best practices, while partnering closely with product, operations, and cross-platform teams to align technical execution with business and regulatory priorities.
