Seeking a Senior Software Engineer to design, develop, and support enterprise integration solutions on the Gainwell Connect Platform. The role focuses on building secure, scalable APIs, microservices, managed file transfer (MFT) solutions, event-driven integrations, operational dashboards, and cloud-native services supporting Medicaid modernization initiatives. The developer will collaborate with architects, analysts, product teams, and external vendors to implement and support system integrations, onboarding activities, and platform enhancements.
Your role in our mission
- Develop and maintain Java/Spring Boot microservices and REST APIs.
- Design and implement integrations using APIs, messaging, MFT, and file-based interfaces.
- Support onboarding of external vendors and client organizations to the Gainwell Connect platform.
- Build and support cloud-native solutions running on OpenShift/Kubernetes and AWS services.
- Implement security, authentication, authorization, logging, auditing, and RBAC capabilities.
- Contribute to technical design documents, interface contracts, runbooks, and operational documentation.
- Develop monitoring, dashboards, and observability solutions to support production operations.
- Participate in performance testing, troubleshooting, production support, and continuous improvement initiatives
What we're looking for

5+ years of Software Development experience with Java, Spring Boot, REST APIs, and Microservices.

5+ years of System Integration experience, including API development, OAuth2, JSON/XML, API Gateway technologies, and Integration Patterns.

3+ years of Cloud and Container Platform experience with AWS, Docker, OpenShift, Kubernetes, and CI/CD Pipelines .

3+ years of Database Development experience with PostgreSQL, SQL, Data Modeling, Performance Tuning, and Troubleshooting .
- Experience with Kafka, Camel, MOVEit/MFT, Angular SPA Development, and Strong Analytical , communication, and production support skills.
