About the Company

Our client is a growing, seven-figure digital marketing agency that helps home-service businesses scale. The agency serves clients across the United States, Canada, and Australia through Google Ads, Meta Ads, SEO, web development, and other digital marketing services.

Its international remote team is expanding, and the founder is now bringing recruitment in-house.

The Opportunity

The company is looking for a proactive, results-driven recruiter and headhunter to own sourcing, screening, candidate evaluation, and hiring.

This is not a job-posting-only position. Success requires direct outreach to passive talent, excellent organization, proactive communication, and independent follow-through.

Initial hiring volume is approximately 2-3 positions per quarter, with quality prioritized over volume. You will initially focus on internal hiring, with potential future expansion into recruiting for the agency’s clients. You will also have the opportunity to shape and scale the recruiting function using modern tools and automation.

What You’ll Do

Full-Cycle Recruiting & Headhunting
- Own searches from intake and sourcing strategy through screening, candidate presentation, and successful hire.
- Identify and engage passive candidates through LinkedIn Recruiter, direct outreach, referrals, and other channels.
- Build targeted talent pools and maintain consistent, thoughtful follow-up.
- Conduct structured interviews to assess skills, experience, English communication, and culture fit.
- Coordinate Predictive Index assessments and role-specific assignments when applicable.
- Present qualified candidates to the founder with clear evaluations and evidence-based recommendations.

Recruiting Operations
- Maintain accurate candidate records, interview notes, pipeline stages, and next steps.
- Build a reusable database of vetted candidates for future openings.
- Track outreach, candidate quality, pipeline progression, and hiring outcomes.
- Improve recruiting documentation, scorecards, workflows, and interview processes.
- Partner with the founder and automation team to streamline recruiting using AI and automation tools.

Communication & Execution
- Work reliably during agreed U.S. Eastern Time business hours, with consistent punctuality and attendance.
- Stay actively engaged and responsive on Slack throughout the scheduled workday.
- Provide proactive status updates, flag delays early, and communicate next steps without being chased.
- Meet agreed deadlines and follow through on candidate communications and commitments.
- Take ownership of problems and propose solutions independently.

Roles You Will Recruit For

Web designers and developers, AI and automation engineers, SEO specialists, Google Ads and Meta Ads specialists, client success managers, operations professionals, video editors, sales closers, and other specialized digital marketing and technical roles.

What Success Looks Like

First 30 Days
- Learn the existing recruiting systems, tools, standards, and open requisitions.
- Establish consistent, targeted sourcing and outbound outreach.
- Build qualified candidate pipelines and maintain accurate tracking.
- Demonstrate dependable Slack communication, organization, and proactive reporting.

First 60–90 Days
- Complete at least one high-quality hire during the initial ramp period.
- Present genuinely qualified candidates who meet both technical and behavioral requirements.
- Manage recruiting activities and follow-ups independently.
- Begin building a reusable database of vetted candidates.

Long Term
- Consistently deliver quality hires across specialized roles.
- Improve recruiting workflows, documentation, and automation alongside the founder and technical team.
- Build a talent network that reduces the need to start each search from scratch.
- Potentially support recruitment for the agency’s clients as the function expands.

Who Will Thrive Here

Someone who enjoys proactive headhunting, takes pride in precision, follows through without reminders, stays engaged with colleagues throughout the day, and consistently delivers. If you combine strong sourcing skills with exceptional attention to detail, urgency, and accountability, we would love to hear from you.
