This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a Senior Project Manager (GPUaaS & AI Infrastructure) based in Ireland.

As a Senior Project Manager, you will lead complex GPU-as-a-Service (GPUaaS) and AI infrastructure deployments, overseeing projects from initial planning through production launch and operational handover. You will coordinate cross-functional teams, customers, vendors, and strategic partners to deliver high-performance computing infrastructure on time and in line with technical and commercial commitments. Beyond project execution, you will help build a scalable Project Management Office (PMO), establishing standardized processes, governance frameworks, and delivery best practices. You will also leverage automation and AI-assisted tools to streamline workflows, improve reporting, and create real-time project dashboards. Working across international teams in Europe, the Americas, Asia, and Australia, you will operate in a dynamic, fast-growing technology environment. This is an opportunity to combine technical project leadership with process innovation while helping shape the future of enterprise AI infrastructure.

Accountabilities:
- Lead end-to-end delivery of GPUaaS, AI infrastructure, hardware installations, and new data center or Point of Presence (PoP) deployments, from project initiation through production handover.

- Develop and maintain integrated project plans covering scope, milestones, timelines, dependencies, resource allocation, responsibilities, risks, decisions, and acceptance criteria.

- Coordinate Solutions Architecture, Engineering, Product, Procurement, Data Center Operations, Service Delivery, Sales, customers, vendors, and strategic partners to ensure effective execution across all project workstreams.

- Align hardware procurement, site readiness, networking, storage, compute infrastructure, platform deployment, and customer onboarding with technical requirements and agreed production dates.

- Lead deployment acceptance, go-live readiness assessments, stabilization activities, and formal handovers to Service Delivery and Operations teams.

- Manage multiple deployments simultaneously, balancing shared resources, competing priorities, dependencies, and delivery commitments.

- Design and standardize the deployment lifecycle, defining project stages, ownership, required inputs, approval gates, and entry and exit criteria.

- Establish project governance practices, including kickoffs, readiness reviews, change control, decision logs, escalation procedures, and regular delivery reviews.

- Create reusable templates, checklists, and operational runbooks to improve consistency, accelerate project initiation, and support deployments across different customers and regions.

- Contribute to the development of a scalable PMO by implementing project management standards, delivery frameworks, and continuous improvement practices.

- Use AI-assisted development tools and automation technologies to design, document, and improve project workflows, reducing manual coordination and repetitive administrative tasks.

- Collaborate with Engineering to integrate project workflows with internal systems, APIs, and data sources, automating status tracking, reporting, and routine updates wherever practical.

- Build and maintain standardized, live project dashboards that draw directly from workflow data and provide a single source of truth for project status.

- Deliver clear executive and operational reporting covering milestones, procurement progress, dependencies, risks, blockers, decisions, ownership, and next steps.

- Identify risks, resource constraints, and dependency conflicts early, driving mitigation plans, escalations, and cross-functional resolution.

- Communicate complex technical and operational issues clearly to leadership, customers, vendors, and partners, translating them into actionable decisions and next steps.

- Conduct post-deployment reviews and incorporate lessons learned into standardized processes and future project delivery practices.

Requirements:

- At least seven years of experience in project management, program management, technical delivery, or infrastructure deployment, including a minimum of five years managing complex infrastructure projects involving multiple teams, customers, vendors, and partners.

- At least three years of experience working with AI infrastructure, GPU platforms, cloud infrastructure, data centers, hardware deployments, telecommunications operators, or managed infrastructure services.

- Proven experience owning infrastructure deployments end to end, with direct accountability for timelines, dependencies, and delivery outcomes from procurement and site readiness through go-live and operational handover.

- Demonstrated experience building or improving PMO processes, project governance frameworks, reporting structures, dashboards, and standardized delivery methodologies.

- Practical understanding of workflow design, automation, APIs, project management platforms, and AI-assisted development tools, with the ability to identify opportunities to reduce manual coordination and reporting.

- Strong technical fluency across compute, networking, storage, data center infrastructure, platform deployment, and operational processes, enabling effective collaboration with engineering teams and early identification of delivery risks.

- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to present project status, risks, decisions, and technical issues clearly to both executives and operational stakeholders.

- Proven ability to build trusted relationships and coordinate distributed teams across multiple countries, cultures, and time zones.

- Strong organizational skills, analytical thinking, and attention to detail, combined with the ability to manage competing priorities and maintain accountability for delivery outcomes.

- A proactive, autonomous working style, with the confidence to establish structure in a fast-growing organization and continuously improve processes as deployment volumes increase.

- Hands-on experience developing workflow automation, system integrations, or AI-assisted tools using scripting, APIs, workflow platforms, Claude Code, or similar technologies is a plus.

- Direct experience deploying GPU clusters or high-performance computing environments is advantageous.

- Familiarity with telecommunications operators, government infrastructure programs, or sovereign AI initiatives is desirable.

- Experience establishing project delivery processes from scratch within a startup or high-growth technology company is beneficial.

- Project management certifications such as PMP, PRINCE2, or Agile/Scrum are an advantage.

- Flexibility to collaborate outside standard business hours when needed to support international teams, customers, and deployment schedules.

Benefits:

- Competitive compensation: An attractive compensation package reflecting your experience, expertise, transferable skills, and market conditions.

- Remote working: A remote role with a flexible, hybrid-friendly working culture.

- International collaboration: Work with colleagues, customers, and partners across Europe, the United States, Australia, and Asia.

- Career development: Opportunities to grow professionally within a fast-growing technology scale-up operating at the forefront of GPUaaS and AI infrastructure.

- Technical and strategic ownership: The opportunity to shape infrastructure deployments, establish PMO standards, and influence how projects are delivered as the business scales.

- Innovation and automation: Opportunities to introduce AI-assisted development, automated workflows, and real-time reporting tools that improve operational efficiency.

- Collaborative environment: Join a friendly, internationally diverse team that values flexibility, teamwork, and practical problem-solving.

- Meaningful impact: Contribute to infrastructure that supports enterprise AI, AI model training and inference, sovereign AI initiatives, and next-generation GPU cloud services.

- Flexible engagement options: The position is available on either a freelance or permanent contract, depending on the agreed arrangement.

- International career exposure: Gain experience managing complex, high-value infrastructure projects across multiple regions and technical environments.
