Senior Legal Researcher (WFH)

Are you a skilled legal researcher looking for an exciting opportunity to showcase your expertise? Eladder4U is seeking a Senior Legal Researcher to join our dynamic team. If you have experience in document management, document review, Adobe Illustrator, MS Word, research and analytics, as well as strong written and spoken English proficiency, then this position is perfect for you! We are seeking a knowledgeable and detail-oriented Immigration Paralegal to prepare, review, and file US visa and immigration petitions across all major categories, with strong working knowledge of US immigration law and procedure.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Prepare, review, and file petitions and applications for H-1B, OPT/STEM OPT, L-1A, O-1A, EB-1, EB-2 NIW, EB-5, and other US visa categories.

2. Complete and file USCIS forms (I-129, I-140, I-485, I-765, I-907, I-526/I-526E, I-539, DS-160, and others) accurately and on time.

3. Draft petition letters, support letters, and legal briefs, including NIW and O-1A evidence and criteria arguments.

4. Collect, organize, and review client documents, evidence, and financial records, including source-of-funds documentation for EB-5.

5. Respond to RFEs, NOIDs, and other government notices in coordination with attorneys.

6. Track case status, deadlines, and visa timelines; maintain accurate case files.

7. Communicate with clients, employers, and attorneys to gather information and provide updates.

8. Conduct legal research on immigration regulations, policy updates, and case law.

9. Ensure compliance with USCIS, DOL, and DOS requirements, including LCA and PERM support where needed.

10. Conduct thorough legal research to support various projects and initiatives within the company.

11. Manage and organize documents efficiently, ensuring all information is easily accessible and up-to-date.

12. Review legal documents for accuracy and compliance with company policies and regulations.

13. Utilize Adobe Illustrator to create visually appealing presentations and reports for internal and external stakeholders.

14. Demonstrate proficiency in MS-Word for drafting and editing legal documents.

15. Utilize research and analytics skills to provide valuable insights and recommendations to management.

16. Write comprehensive reports detailing findings and recommendations based on research and analysis.

- 3. Strong knowledge of H-1B, OPT/STEM OPT, L-1A, O-1A, EB-2 NIW, and EB-5 processes.
- 4. Ability to review financial documents, audits, and business plans.
- 5. Excellent written and spoken English, with strong legal drafting skills.
- 6. High attention to detail, organization, and deadline management.
- 7. Proficiency in MS Office, case management software, and USCIS online filing systems.
- 8. Ability to work independently and handle multiple cases at once.
- Preferred:
- 1. Prior experience at a US immigration law firm.
- 2. Familiarity with premium processing, consular processing, and change or extension of status.
