Senior Growth Analyst
This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a Senior Growth Analyst based in United States.
This role sits at the intersection of growth strategy, product analytics, and data-driven decision-making within a fast-growing marketplace environment. You will partner with product, growth, and initiative leaders to define objectives, establish meaningful metrics, and measure the impact of major business initiatives. Your analysis will help uncover opportunities, size new ideas, guide experimentation, and translate complex data into clear execution priorities. The position combines hands-on SQL analysis with strategic influence and close collaboration across teams. Working remotely, with occasional onsite collaboration for San Francisco-based team events and meetings, you will play a visible role in turning data into measurable growth.
Accountabilities:
- Partner with product leadership and initiative leads to define objectives, establish core metrics, and monitor performance across major product initiatives.
- Build and maintain dashboards that provide cross-functional teams and leadership with clear visibility into the progress and impact of individual workstreams.
- Work closely with go-to-market teams to identify growth opportunities, evaluate key business levers, and measure the impact of initiatives designed to improve performance.
- Conduct ad hoc investigations and deep-dive analyses to uncover meaningful trends, opportunities, and actionable insights from complex datasets.
- Translate analytical findings into clear, practical recommendations and execution priorities for product and cross-functional teams.
- Partner with product leadership to investigate, quantify, and prioritize new opportunities using a first-principles, data-driven approach.
- Support experimentation by helping teams define success metrics, establish measurement frameworks, and evaluate whether initiatives are improving key business outcomes.
- Contribute to data-driven workflows and analytical approaches that help unlock sustainable growth and improve decision-making across the organization.
Requirements
- Several years of experience conducting ad hoc investigations using SQL and translating datasets into actionable business insights.
- Deep understanding of marketplace metrics, business models, and ecosystem dynamics, ideally supported by 5+ years of experience in a product or analytics role within a fast-growing marketplace startup.
- Strong analytical and quantitative skills, including the ability to express relationships and business dynamics using mathematical equations.
- Ability to simplify complex problems and communicate insights in a clear, practical, and accessible way.
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to adapt explanations for both highly technical audiences and broader cross-functional stakeholders.
- Strong leadership and emotional intelligence, with the ability to influence, inspire, and motivate stakeholders through collaboration and influence rather than formal authority.
- Highly outcome-oriented mindset, with a strong commitment to driving measurable results and taking ownership of important initiatives.
- Passion for using technology, data, and innovation to improve the animal healthcare industry and empower veterinary professionals.
