This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a Senior Full Stack Engineer, Notetaker based in United States.

This role offers the opportunity to shape the core features and architecture behind an AI-powered meeting notetaking and recap product used by millions of people.
You will work on a modern, service-oriented platform that is rapidly scaling its usage and user base while maintaining a high standard of product quality.
The position combines full-stack development, system design, platform scalability, automation, and hands-on ownership of critical product capabilities.
You will collaborate closely with Product, Design, and fellow engineers to turn evolving requirements into reliable, scalable experiences.
The environment encourages technical growth, experimentation, cross-squad collaboration, and continuous improvement of engineering practices.

You will also contribute to architectural decisions, code quality, operational excellence, and the development of other engineers through mentorship.
This is a remote U.S. opportunity for an experienced engineer who enjoys solving complex technical challenges and building products at significant scale.

Accountabilities:
- Collaborate with the engineering team to design and deliver new features that expand the capabilities of the AI notetaking platform and support additional user types.

- Contribute to platform scaling initiatives, helping ensure services and architecture can support significant growth in usage while maintaining reliability and performance.

- Work closely with Product and Design teams to refine requirements, evaluate technical approaches, and translate product needs into effective engineering solutions.

- Participate in agile ceremonies and team planning activities, helping prioritize work, identify dependencies, and drive initiatives through successful completion.

- Collaborate across engineering squads to improve development practices, technical standards, tooling, and overall engineering effectiveness.

- Review technical implementation plans and pull requests, providing thoughtful feedback that improves code quality, maintainability, and system design.

- Build tooling and automation that improves delivery processes and supports a more service-oriented engineering environment.

- Mentor and coach other engineers, contributing to technical development and helping strengthen the capabilities of the broader team.

- Take ownership of features throughout their full lifecycle, from technical discovery and implementation through testing, release, monitoring, and ongoing maintenance.

- Participate in an on-call rotation and respond promptly and effectively to business-critical alerts outside regular working hours.

Requirements

- Bring 7+ years of professional software development experience, preferably within a SaaS or technology company.

- Have professional experience with Node.js and TypeScript, with experience using React or a comparable modern UI framework being highly desirable.

- Demonstrate hands-on experience with service-oriented architectures, microservices, and significant product or platform scaling initiatives.

- Possess strong system design and software engineering skills, with the ability to make sound architectural decisions in complex and evolving environments.

- Demonstrate the ability to adapt quickly to new technologies, changing requirements, and evolving organizational priorities.

- Have a proven track record of owning software features end-to-end, including technical discovery, implementation, testing, release, and ongoing operational support.

- Be comfortable using AI coding assistants such as Copilot or Cursor as productivity tools while maintaining a clear understanding of generated code and being able to explain and defend implementation decisions.

- Demonstrate strong collaboration and communication skills, with the ability to work effectively with engineers, Product, Design, and cross-functional teams.

- Bring a proactive, ownership-oriented mindset and a willingness to contribute beyond individual feature development to broader engineering improvements.

- Be authorized to work lawfully in the United States. Employment-based immigration sponsorship is not available for this role.

Benefits

- Annual base salary ranging from $187,000–$226,600 USD (Tier 3) , $205,700–$249,260 USD (Tier 2) , or $224,400–$271,920 USD (Tier 1) , depending on the candidate's eligible geographic pay zone.

- Remote work in the United States, with occasional travel for company events, team collaboration, or offsites.

- Salary positioning considers relevant experience, skill sets, interview performance, location or metropolitan area, and internal pay equity.

- Geographic salary tiers are determined based on the employee's remote work location, with higher ranges applying to select major metropolitan areas.
