SUMMARY
The Senior Director, Business Transformation leads transformation initiatives and serves as the operational leader of the Integration Management Office (IMO) function, with primary accountability for planning and executing the integration of a large-scale acquisition into Sevita βs operating model. This role owns the transformation and integration portfolio end to end: establishing integration governance, orchestrating cross-functional workstreams (Operations, Finance, HR, IT, Quality, Legal, and Payor/Network), driving synergy identification and value capture, and redesigning processes and organizational structures to create a unified, scalable operating platform. The Senior Director partners directly with the operating group leadership team, functional centers of excellence and enterprise leadership on strategic planning, Day 1 readiness, integration milestone execution, and long-term operating model transformation, bringing rigorous process engineering discipline β root-cause analysis, process redesign, change management, and performance measurement β to ensure transformation outcomes are achieved, sustained, and adopted across the enterprise.
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS
To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to satisfactorily perform each essential function listed below:
- Integration Management Office (IMO) Leadership: Establishes and operates the Integration Management Office governance structure, including integration charters, workstream operating cadence, decision and escalation frameworks, interdependency management, and executive steering committee reporting.
- Acquisition Integration Planning & Execution: Leads integration planning and execution for the acquisition of a large competitor β including communications, Day 1 readiness, first 100-day planning, milestone and risk tracking, and legal-entity, licensure, and payor-contract transition coordination β ensuring continuity of quality services to the people we serve throughout integration.
- Synergy & Value Capture: Drives identification, validation, and capture of cost and revenue synergies; builds baselines and tracking mechanisms in partnership with Finance; reports value-capture progress to executive leadership and course-corrects where results lag targets.
- Operating Model & Process Transformation: Assesses current-state operating models of both organizations; designs and implements the future-state operating model, including process harmonization, organizational alignment, systems consolidation roadmaps (in partnership with IT), and standardization of policies and procedures.
- Transformation Portfolio Strategy: Leads the design and execution of the operating groupβs broader transformation portfolio beyond integration; facilitates prioritization, ensures alignment with strategic objectives, and partners with the business to define, build, and launch scalable and sustainable solutions.
- Process Engineering & Change Management: Conducts root-cause analysis, process mapping, and gap identification to inform transformation design; develops implementation strategies including rollout plans, field training, and communication plans; manages change through documentation, training, and adoption measurement to achieve maximum adoption across legacy and acquired organizations.
