The Digital Experience team works on a wide range of digital products from a native app to all things Banner, to voice solutions for easy appointment scheduling, to patient rehab apps, to internal physician workflow and care solutions. We’re looking for out-of-the-box design thinkers to join Banner Health 's new Digital Experience team as they create innovative and intuitive digital consumer health experiences. You’ll be armed with the latest tools, technology, and methodologies to innovate and solve real-world healthcare challenges. Bring your best ideas and design thinking to our greenfield approach to healthcare.

In this position you will be our primary Designer within the Atria Design System value stream. You will work across all of our scrum teams and digital product scope to discover needs, design and refine components and other Design System aspects, test for usability, accessibility and against other criteria, and deliver for use internally and by vendors. This role offers a good mix of responsibilities that span the product design double diamond from discovery of needs and ideation through testing, delivery and iteration, also including communication and sharing of Atria Design System effectively toward adoption.

POSITION SUMMARY

This position works to create innovative and intuitive consumer health solutions. This role works directly with the leadership team and alongside front-end and back-end developers/engineering and is responsible for taking ideas from rough sketches through to complete products. This position takes ownership and can self-direct UI/UX of digital projects from inception to completion. This position has a direct and meaningful impact on our patient and consumer experience, pushing to identify new ways to connect emotionally, build trust and develop lasting relationships.
CORE FUNCTIONS

1. Leads important projects in design, development, documentation, debugging and support of the user interface to have best possible user experience. Articulates, develops and models the end user experience of the visual design of the application, to make user interaction simple, efficient and consistent. Prioritizes and manages work to adhere to critical project timelines in a fast-paced environment. Maintains awareness of ongoing departmental policy and management initiatives.

2. Works whiteboard sketches to full high fidelity digital experiences including responsive web, native mobile, voice, and emerging digital solutions. Collaborates with cross-functional teams to prioritize deliverables, manage and deliver design assets on time, as well as champion the best possible user experience for the brand.
