Senior Delivery / Project Manager (DevTools & Infrastructure)
Here at Mindera, we are building a world-class team and would love for you to join us.
We are looking for an energetic, highly proactive Senior Delivery / Project Manager to lead a team dedicated to providing essential work tools and infrastructure—such as Perforce, Horde, and Resilio —to game development studios.
In this role, you will be a true "do-er" and driver of the project, not just a consultant who gives recommendations. You will take full ownership of the delivery process, working closely with engineering teams to turn business needs into realistic plans and successfully delivering robust solutions.
With a solid technical understanding of how servers, virtual machines, and high-availability setups work in general, combined with strong project management skills, you will help the team estimate effort, define delivery plans, and manage priorities. You will proactively identify risks, manage dependencies, and when things go off-track, you will be the one driving the "Path to Green."
At Mindera, we value empathy, self-organization, ownership, and a positive attitude. We believe successful delivery comes from trust, collaboration, and continuous improvement. If you enjoy empowering teams, driving topics forward, and creating alignment between technical and business perspectives, you'll feel right at home here.
We also encourage the use of AI to support delivery management, planning, risk analysis, documentation, and related activities. We believe that sound judgment, problem-solving, collaboration, and accountability remain essential to successful delivery, with or without AI. During the interview process, our goal is to understand your delivery management knowledge, problem-solving abilities, and approach to delivering successfully. If you plan to use AI during the interview process, please be transparent with us to avoid misunderstandings.
Expected travelling time (UK and USA): 0%-15%, varies according to project/client. You will be working with teams across different time zones and locations.
- 8+ years of experience in IT Project/Delivery Management, ideally within infrastructure, DevOps, or tooling teams supporting development studios.
- Strong Project Management skills: Proven experience in Scoping, Planning, Estimating workload, managing Risks, and defining "Path to Green" recovery plans.
- A true "do-er" mentality: Highly energetic, proactive, and focused on driving topics and projects to completion rather than just consulting or presenting.
- Technical understanding: You don't need to code, but you must understand how things work in general, including servers, VMs, master server & replica setups, High Availability (HA), RPO (Recovery Point Objective), and RTO (Recovery Time Objective).
- Agile & Frameworks: Deep practical knowledge of Scrum, Sprints, and driving Continuous Improvement.
- Tech Stack Familiarity: Familiarity with DevOps and infrastructure automation practices (Ansible, Terraform).
- Tooling: Strong experience with Jira, Confluence, and ServiceNow.
- Domain Knowledge: Familiarity with development studio tools like Perforce, Horde, and Resilio is a major plus.
- Communication: Strong reporting skills and the ability to drive alignment across international stakeholders and distributed teams.
What you will be doing:
- Drive the project: Take hands-on ownership of delivering work tools and infrastructure to development studios, pushing topics forward and ensuring commitments are met.
- Manage the lifecycle: Lead project planning, workload estimation, scoping, and sprint execution in collaboration with technical teams.
- Risk & Recovery: Proactively identify blockers and manage risks. If a project falls behind, you will develop and actively drive the "Path to Green" recovery plan.
- Bridge Tech & Business: Work closely with engineering to ensure that infrastructure availability, master/replica setups, HA, RPO, and RTO requirements are properly planned and executed.
- Facilitate & Improve: Run Agile/Scrum ceremonies, manage priorities, resolve conflicts, remove impediments, and foster continuous improvement.
- Report & Align: Track progress, milestones, and deliverables, providing clear, transparent reporting to stakeholders using Jira, Confluence, and ServiceNow.
