Cloud Infrastructure & Automation (AWS / IaC)

Automate provisioning and lifecycle management of AWS services โ identity, compute, storage, backups, networking, logging, and monitoring โ using Terraform
-
Deploy, configure, harden, and maintain infrastructure across AWS and hybrid environments following secure baseline standards
-
Build and standardize reusable Terraform modules; improve consistency across Environments.
DevOps Enablement & Operational Excellence

Build and enhance CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins (Groovy/YAML pipeline-as-code), Git, and Docker
-
Manage containerized workloads on ECS/Docker, including deployment strategies and rolling updates
-
Troubleshoot and resolve infrastructure and automation issues to ensure reliability and mission continuity
-
Implement and maintain monitoring/observability using Splunk, Zabbix, and AppDynamics, with actionable dashboards and alerting
-
Participate in an on-call rotation to support production incident response and mission continuity for critical workloads
Security, Compliance, and Resilience

Apply cybersecurity best practices and support compliance-aligned infrastructure operations (NIST, CIS, ISO 27000, FedRAMP/FISMA)

Collaborate with security and networking teams on secure configurations, change controls, and audit-ready processes

Support business continuity and disaster recovery (DR) readiness
Cross-Team Collaboration & Documentation

Partner with engineering, security, networking, and application teams to support mission needs and delivery timelines

Maintain SOPs, system diagrams, and secure configuration baselines
-
Produce clear Root Cause Analysis(RCA) documentation and present findings to technical and non-technical/federal stakeholders
What You Will Need:
-
Bachelor's degree in Engineering, IT, Computer Science, or related field or additional four (4) years of experience in lieu of degree.

Minimum Six(6) years hands-on experience in AWS cloud and DevOps/platform engineering.

Strong hands-on Terraform experience for AWS infrastructure automation.
-
Strong Jenkins/CI-CD pipeline experience, including YAML and Groovy pipeline scripting.
- Docker containerization experience.

Strong scripting skills (Python and/or Bash).
-
Working knowledge of cybersecurity best practices, zero-trust concepts, and compliance frameworks (NIST, CIS, ISO 27000).

Self-starter, comfortable working across Engineering, DevOps, and Architecture functions.

Must be able to OBTAIN and MAINTAIN a Federal or DoD "PUBLIC TRUST"; candidates must obtain approved adjudication of their PUBLIC TRUST prior to onboarding with Guidehouse . Candidates with an ACTIVE PUBLIC TRUST or SUITABILITY are preferred.
What Would Be Nice To Have:

Backstage or other internal developer platform (IDP) experience.
- ServiceNow administration experience.

AWS Certified DevOps Engineer โ Professional (or equivalent).

Experience with monitoring/observability tools: Splunk, Zabbix, AppDynamics.

Experience with AI-assisted coding tools (Copilot, Kiro or Cursor) to accelerate delivery while maintaining quality via testing/review.
The annual salary range for this position is $118,000.00-$196,000.00. Compensation decisions depend on a wide range of factors, including but not limited to skill sets, experience and training, security clearances, licensure and certifications, and other business and organizational needs.
