micro1 is engaging Senior Accountant Experts to contribute specialized knowledge and experience to a dynamic customer project. In this role, you'll apply your expertise to help train next-generation AI systems. Your work will shape how models learn, reason, and perform through high-quality, real-world input. No prior experience in AI is required — your domain knowledge is what matters.
Scope of Work

- Review, evaluate, and annotate financial reports and statements for accuracy and completeness, providing insights based on established accounting standards.

- Assess and critique audit procedures, identifying gaps, best practices, and regulatory considerations for diverse business scenarios.

- Create and assess financial models, ensuring logical structure, accuracy, and actionable insights.

- Analyze and provide feedback on tax compliance practices and documentation, highlighting risks and compliance issues.

- Review a variety of legal and financial documents, offering detailed feedback on clarity, correctness, and alignment with regulations.

- Deliver clear and constructive written and verbal feedback on project materials, ensuring effective communication with cross-functional teams.

- Support the development and evaluation of data sets for AI training, leveraging your prior experience with human data processes such as data labeling, annotation, or model evaluation.

Preferred Qualifications

- 5+ years of corporate-level accounting experience with a track record of handling complex financial scenarios.

- Strong proficiency in financial reporting, audit procedures, financial modeling, tax compliance, and legal document review.

- Demonstrated experience in providing actionable feedback and communicating findings effectively in both written and verbal formats.

- Prior participation in human data projects such as data labeling, annotation, reinforcement learning from human feedback (RLHF), or model evaluation.

- Keen analytical skills with meticulous attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy and compliance.

- Adaptability and a growth mindset, with a passion for leveraging accounting knowledge in innovative contexts.
