About AI Acquisition
AI Acquisition is a bootstrapped, founder-led business helping founders and operators scale with AI, combining a sales and delivery engine, one-to-one consultation, and our own SaaS platforms. We move fast, we build constantly, and we hold a high bar for the people who work directly with our clients.
We currently manage thousands of active clients across multiple products, with 250+ new clients onboarding every month. The Account Management function is the front line of that relationship.
The Role
You are the person between the client and the outcome. Not a relationship manager. Not a check-in scheduler. Not someone who forwards tickets and hopes for the best.
You own a portfolio of clients who are building real businesses with our support. Some are launching for the first time. Some are scaling. Some are stuck and frustrated. Your job is to diagnose where they actually are, figure out what's blocking their progress, manage their expectations when needed, and drive them toward commercial results, not just activity.
This means you need to understand marketing, sales, offer development, and fulfillment well enough to have real conversations about all of them. If a client's campaign is generating calls but nobody's closing, you need to be able to tell them why and what to do about it, not pass it to someone else.
Our clients purchase a fully built AI lead-generation business: brand, website, funnel, lead engine, and the systems that help turn leads into customers. You own the relationship around that delivery. You need to know what they bought, what was promised, where they are in the journey, and what needs to happen next, with specifics, not generalities.
You'll work directly with clients on Zoom, Slack, and through our internal systems. You'll run growth workshops, intro calls, and quick syncs. You'll manage escalations without panicking and celebrate wins without coasting. And when a client is about to walk, you'll be the person who finds the path to keep them or makes the honest call that they should go.
What You'll Own
- A portfolio of active clients across different stages: onboarding, growth, scale, and at-risk
- Growth workshops, intro calls, and regular check-ins; you set the rhythm, not the client
- Client expectation management, framing what's realistic, resetting when needed, never overpromising
- Diagnosing why a client isn't getting results: is it the offer, the funnel, the sales process, the client's own execution, or something upstream?
- Funnel and campaign literacy and understanding the client's lead engine (Meta ads, cold email, B2B book-a-call, DFY website), confirming it matches their contract and guarantee, and flagging mismatches before they become problems
- Reading the client's specific contract, understanding the distinct payment flows (client pays AIA, client's customers pay client, ad spend reimbursement), and giving accurate answers under pressure rather than quoting generic numbers
- Spotting the signals before a client escalates (sudden silence, short replies, frustration, refund language, contract/funnel mismatches) and acting on them with a structured escalation, not a panicked message
- De-escalating frustrated clients without throwing the company under the bus, without panicking, and without making promises you can't keep
- When you inherit accounts, you verify every client's status, contract, delivery stage, and risk level before assuming anything is fine
- Spotting when a client is ready for more and positioning it as the natural next step, not a sales pitch
- Every client interaction, decision, and next step logged in our systems (Athena ticketing, Slack channels)
- Collaboration with the broader CS, delivery, and onboarding teams to make sure nothing falls through the cracks
