About The Role
Reporting to the Corporate Security and Compliance Manager, you’ll work collaboratively on Security Team projects and BAU, while owning your own tasks and elevating existing processes.
Working in a scale-up, means you get the opportunity to flex your skills in a variety of ways. We are agile and always willing to roll up our sleeves to get things done. You can, however, expect your day to day to be involved in the following:
- Own and operate the vulnerability management program for corporate infrastructure
- Support the integration of AI tools across the corporate infrastructure
- Identify, document and automate corporate security controls and processes
- Support the automation of the Identity, Access and Device management program from onboarding to offboarding
- Contribute to the entire lifecycle of security event and incident response, including: triage alerts, investigation and remediation.
- Participate in Zepto ’s after hours on-call rotation
At Zepto , we believe that security foundations are the most important controls. AI has transformed how we think about those foundations and we are looking for someone to support building and automating controls for our Corporate Infrastructure. Think device management, identity management, patch & vulnerability management built to defend against machine speed attacks.
About You
As a Security Operations Analyst, you are a logical thinker and an excellent communicator with a keen interest in developing your craft and current technical skills. You have confidence investigating security issues, and can escalate in the appropriate manner when required.
Specifically, the ideal candidate will possess the following experience:
- Minimum of 1-2 years’ experience in a Security Analyst or Security Operations role within a scaling business - or equivalent
- AI fluency, including experience using coding agents
- Demonstrated technical understanding of vulnerability management
- A practical understanding of Identity and Access Management principles
- Demonstrated experience and confidence analysing logs
- Familiar with security and investigation tools such as: Datadog, Jamf, Crowdstrike, Okta or similar
- Previous experience automating processes, scripting and technical writing
- An understanding of Security frameworks (such as MITRE framework)
Zepto is a remote-first organisation, and we have a national footprint and actively encourage candidates nationwide – however we do have a strong preference for this role to be based in Melbourne or Sydney.
