As a Search Engine Evaluator, you will help improve the quality, relevance, and accuracy of online search results while contributing to the development of AI-powered technologies. You will evaluate search engine responses to everyday queries, using your research skills and understanding of local culture to determine how well results meet users' needs. Your work may involve assessing text, images, audio, and video content across a variety of digital platforms. Accountabilities
- Search Result Evaluation: Review and assess search engine results for relevance, usefulness, accuracy, and alignment with user intent.

- AI Data Improvement: Complete a variety of evaluation tasks that help improve the quality of training data used in AI-powered search technologies and other digital platforms.

- Content Assessment: Evaluate different types of digital content, including text, images, audio, and video, according to established project guidelines.

- Research and Analysis: Conduct online research to verify information, interpret search queries, and determine whether results are appropriate for users in the Indian market.

- Quality and Accuracy: Maintain high standards of accuracy, consistency, and quality while meeting project-specific performance targets and service-level agreements.

- Cultural and Linguistic Evaluation: Apply your knowledge of English as used in India, local trends, and popular culture to assess the relevance and suitability of search results.

- Independent Task Management: Organize your workload, follow project schedules, and complete assigned tasks efficiently while working remotely.

- Compliance and Confidentiality: Follow project instructions, complete mandatory training and assessments, and comply with confidentiality requirements and the project non-disclosure agreement.

Requirements

- Location and Eligibility: Must currently reside in India and be at least 18 years old.

- Language Proficiency: Strong English language skills, with a good understanding of English usage and cultural context in India.

- Research Skills: Excellent online research abilities, familiarity with search engines, and an interest in discovering and evaluating information on the internet.

- Analytical Thinking: Ability to assess information critically, interpret user intent, identify relevant results, and make sound judgments based on established guidelines.

- Attention to Detail: Strong focus on accuracy, consistency, and quality when reviewing search results and digital content.

- Time Management and Self-Discipline: Ability to work independently from home, manage time effectively, meet deadlines, and maintain productivity in a flexible work environment.

- Technical Requirements: Access to a personal computer, a smartphone, a reliable internet connection, and dependable antivirus software to protect your device while browsing online.

- Availability: Commitment to working a minimum of 5 hours and a maximum of 20 hours per week, with an average workload of approximately 15 hours weekly.

- Training and Confidentiality: Willingness to complete the required training modules and pass the project-specific qualification test before beginning assignments, as well as sign and comply with a non-disclosure agreement.

- Household Eligibility: Only one Search Engine Evaluator or Search Quality Rater is permitted per household.

- Previous Experience: No prior professional experience is required. An interest in AI, digital technologies, online research, and search engine quality is highly valued.
