SAP IS-Auto / Proaxia VSS Functional Consultant (Techno-Functional)

In this role, you will support automotive aftersales engagements by designing, implementing, enhancing, and supporting SAP IS-Auto/DBM and Proaxia VSS solutions tailored to dealership operations. You will work closely with business stakeholders, developers, OEM partners, and integration teams to optimize workshop operations, service management, parts management, and warranty processes. Combining functional consulting with technical troubleshooting and integration support, you will help deliver scalable SAP solutions that improve operational efficiency, strengthen customer experiences, and align with SAP and automotive industry best practices.
Responsibilities
- Design, configure, optimize, and support SAP IS-Auto/DBM and Proaxia VSS solutions for automotive aftersales operations.

- Lead business process workshops, fit-gap analysis, solution blueprinting, implementation, enhancements, integrations, testing, and ongoing support.
- Configure and support service orders, workshop management, service appointments, vehicle reception, parts and inventory management, warranty and goodwill processing, recall campaigns, labor operations and pricing, vehicle health checks, and customer quotations and approvals.
- Analyze dealership processes, identify automation and optimization opportunities, translate business requirements into scalable SAP solutions, and recommend improvements that strengthen efficiency, customer experience, and operational performance.
- Gather and document detailed requirements while collaborating with business stakeholders, OEM partners, project teams, developers, and integration teams. - Ensure solutions follow SAP and automotive industry best practices.

- At least 5 years of hands-on SAP Automotive experience, including SAP IS-Auto/DBM and Proaxia VSS.
- Hands-on experience with SAP IS-Auto DBM, Proaxia VSS, and SAP S/4HANA Automotive solutions.
- Strong integration experience across SAP IS-Auto/DBM and Proaxia VSS with SAP SD, MM, FI/CO, FSCM, Business Partner, CRM/CX, and S/4HANA, along with OEM or CRM integrations using middleware such as SAP CPI or PI/PO and APIs or IDocs.
- Strong understanding of automotive aftersales workflows, including workshop and service operations, parts and inventory management, warranty and recall processing, and vehicle reception and delivery.

- Hands-on experience delivering end-to-end SAP projects across at least 2-3 implementations, rollouts, or upgrade projects using SAP Activate, including fit-gap analysis, business process workshops, blueprinting, solution design, configuration, testing, data migration, cutover, go-live, and hypercare.
- Experience working with Agile or DevOps practices.
- Experience providing structured L2/L3 production support under SLA requirements.
- Experience leading requirements-gathering sessions, fit-gap analysis, and business process workshops with automotive dealership teams and aftersales process owners.
- Proven ability to coordinate with OEM partners, business users, ABAP developers, and integration teams to translate business requirements into SAP solutions, resolve cross-system issues, and support testing and deployment.
- Fluent English and Arabic proficiency.

- Availability to work with full overlap with UAE/Gulf business hours and to support planned go-live, cutover, and hypercare activities outside standard working hours when required.
- Availability to support production incidents and aftersales support within agreed SLA coverage.
- Direct experience implementing or supporting automotive dealership aftersales operations is a plus.
- Relevant SAP certifications are a plus.
