About you

As a Sales Manager โ€“ Southeast Asia (SEA), you will be responsible for developing TRG's business across the Southeast Asian market, with a strong focus on government and law-enforcement customers.

You will own your territory, identify and close new business opportunities, develop local channels and partnerships, and lead complex sales processes from initial opportunity through negotiation and closure.

Success in this role requires more than traditional software sales experience. You should understand how government business is done across Southeast Asia, including public-sector budgeting and procurement processes, local market dynamics, stakeholder environments, and the relationships required to successfully develop business in the region.
What youโ€™ll work on:

- Develop and grow TRG's business across Southeast Asia, with a focus on government and law-enforcement customers.

- Build and manage a strong regional sales pipeline for Intellectus.

- Identify, develop, and close new business opportunities across the region.

- Own complex sales cycles from initial engagement through negotiation and contract closure.

- Understand customer needs and formalize strong value propositions based on TRG's solutions.

- Navigate government budgeting, procurement processes, and decision-making structures across Southeast Asian markets.

- Build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders within government and law-enforcement environments.

- Develop and manage a strong regional ecosystem of partners, agents, and channels.

- Identify the right local partners and engagement strategies for individual markets.

- Build and maintain a network within relevant high-level government and business circles.

- Assess opportunities to develop long-term, sustainable business relationships and determine the appropriate market-entry and engagement strategy.

- Manage opportunity prioritization, commercial structuring, negotiations, and deal execution.

- Meet assigned sales targets and strategic objectives as set by management.

- Monitor market developments and identify new opportunities across the region.

- Coordinate sales efforts closely with TRG's Solution Architecture, Product, and other internal teams.

What we look for:

- At least 3 years of B2G sales experience selling software, technology solutions, or IT services to government customers in Southeast Asia, with a proven track record.

- Strong experience working with law-enforcement, public-safety, intelligence, or other government agencies is highly preferred.

- Demonstrated understanding of government budgeting, procurement, tendering, and purchasing processes within Southeast Asian markets.

- Strong knowledge of the Southeast Asian market and the ability to navigate different local business, political, and stakeholder environments.

- Proven track record of managing and closing complex government sales opportunities.

- Experience selling through local partners, channels, and agents.

- An established network within government and/or law-enforcement environments in Southeast Asia is a strong advantage.

- Experience in the intelligence domain is considered a plus.

- Exceptional communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.

- Ability to work independently and take ownership of a regional territory.
