About the role

GRID is looking for a commercially driven Sales Manager - Prediction Markets to help us expand the reach of our esports data across the prediction-market exchange ecosystem.

You will identify and develop relationships with prediction-market exchanges. You'll build a strong understanding of their needs and demonstrate how GRID 's official data, visualizations, and resulting data can create value.

You will own opportunities from initial outreach through to commercial agreement and ongoing partnership, working closely with GRID 's commercial, product, and legal teams. You will also be responsible for delivering against agreed sales targets and contributing to the growth of this emerging commercial vertical for GRID .
Requirements
What you will do

Identify and target prediction-market exchanges, platforms and other relevant prospects.

Build and manage a sales pipeline through research, networking, inbound leads and proactive cold outreach.

Develop relationships with exchanges and embedded platforms

Understand prospect requirements and present GRID 's data and products as compelling solutions.

Own the sales process from initial contact through negotiation and close.

Meet agreed sales targets and take responsibility for growing revenue within the channel.

Work with GRID 's product, data and commercial teams to develop propositions for the prediction-market sector.

Build long-term partner relationships and identify opportunities to expand existing accounts.

Stay close to developments in prediction markets, esports and data technology to identify new opportunities.

Your skills will include

A strong understanding of prediction markets, betting exchanges, financial markets or adjacent market infrastructure.

An understanding of how exchanges, market makers, liquidity providers and embedded/white-label platforms operate.

Strong business development and sales skills, with a track record of building a pipeline and converting opportunities.

Confidence conducting cold outreach and engaging senior decision-makers.

Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to explain complex products and data clearly.

Experience selling B2B technology, data, media, sports or other complex products is highly valuable.

Commercially driven, target-oriented and comfortable being accountable for revenue.

Curious and proactive, with an appetite for learning and operating in a rapidly evolving market.
