Sales Development Representative (SDR) – Property Management Sales

Position Type: Full-Time, Remote
Working Hours: U.S. Eastern Time (EST)
About the Role

At Pavago , one of our clients is hiring an experienced Sales Development Representative (SDR) with a background in property management or real estate sales to convert inbound opportunities into long-term clients.

This is not a cold prospecting role . You’ll work primarily with property owners, landlords, and real estate investors who have already expressed interest in property management services.
Your focus will be on:

- Rapid inbound lead response

- Lead qualification and conversion

- Property management sales

- Relationship building

- Persistent follow-up

- CRM and pipeline management

- Moving qualified prospects toward signed agreements

Success in this role comes down to speed to contact, strong phone communication, trust-building, and disciplined follow-up .

What You’ll Own
Inbound Lead Conversion

- Respond quickly to inbound property management leads provided by the company.

- Connect with prospective property owners, landlords, and investors by phone, email, and other communication channels.

- Understand each prospect’s portfolio, challenges, needs, and expectations.

- Explain property management services clearly and confidently.

- Position solutions based on the prospect’s specific situation.

- Move qualified opportunities through the sales pipeline toward signed agreements.

- Maintain urgency without creating a high-pressure sales experience.

Property Management Sales

Conduct consultative conversations with prospective clients to understand needs related to:

- Tenant management

- Leasing

- Rent collection

- Maintenance coordination

- Property operations

- Portfolio management

Communicate the value of professional property management and help prospects understand how the company’s services can address their operational challenges.
Relationship Building & Follow-Up

- Build trust and credibility quickly with property owners and investors.

- Execute persistent, organized follow-up across active opportunities.

- Re-engage warm leads that are not ready to make an immediate decision.

- Maintain communication throughout longer sales cycles.

- Ensure no qualified lead goes untouched or misses a scheduled follow-up.

- Deliver a responsive and professional client experience from first contact through close.

CRM & Pipeline Management
Maintain accurate CRM records covering:

- Calls

- Emails

- Follow-ups

- Prospect needs

- Sales conversations

- Lead status

- Next steps

- Deal stages

- Conversion activity

Keep the sales pipeline organized and ensure leadership has clear visibility into opportunity progression.
Sales Pipeline Execution

- Prioritize new inbound leads based on urgency and opportunity.

- Track prospects through each stage of the sales process.

- Identify stalled opportunities and determine appropriate next steps.

- Maintain consistent follow-up schedules.

- Take ownership of moving opportunities toward conversion.

- Track individual activity and conversion performance.

Collaboration & Market Feedback

Work closely with marketing and leadership to:

- Share feedback on lead quality.

- Identify recurring prospect questions and objections.

- Improve sales messaging and positioning.

- Highlight opportunities to improve conversion rates.

- Share insights from conversations with property owners and investors.

Stay informed on property management trends, landlord challenges, investor priorities, and competing services.
Required Experience & Skills
Must-Have

3+ years of experience in sales, business development, client acquisition, or account management.

- Direct experience in property management sales, real estate sales, property management operations, or a closel
