Sales Development Representative
About the Role
Club Athletic is a community-first fitness brand built on the Training Squad: people who train together, twice a week, at a set time, with a dedicated coach. Every month a large number of people create an account with us but never take the next step — they don't book a call, attend a class, or join a squad. This role exists to change that. As our Sales Development Representative, you own that overlooked pool of leads. Through the week you reach out to people who signed up but went quiet and get them booked onto a call. On weekends you run those calls yourself and close them into memberships. It's a role for someone who loves both the chase and the close — persistent on outreach, warm on the phone, motivated by clear targets and real commission.
What Success Looks Like
Targets are set and reviewed with the Sales Manager. Not all are tied to commission, but all measure success in the role.
Primary Metrics
- Calls Booked — Number of placement / sales calls booked from the unactioned-lead pool each month.
- Show Rate — Lifting the share of booked calls that actually attend (the current show rate has room to grow).
- Memberships Closed — New Training Squad memberships you personally close each month.
- Speed-to-Lead (SLA) — Meet the response SLA — every lead contacted within 90 minutes during operating hours, and first thing at 8am for leads that come in after 7pm.

Secondary Metrics
- Call-to-Member Conversion — Share of attended calls that convert to a membership.
- Pipeline Hygiene — Accurate, up-to-date lead tracking so no lead falls through the cracks.
- Member Experience — Professional, on-brand, helpful experience on every call.
What You'll Do
Work the unactioned lead pool (week days)
- Contact every new account that hasn't booked or bought, while intent is still warm.
- Response SLA — Meet the lead-response SLA: every lead contacted within 90 minutes during operating hours. Leads that arrive after 7pm are contacted first thing at 8am the next morning.
- Run multi-channel outreach — call, text, and email — to get leads onto a placement or sales call.
- Confirm and remind every booked call so people actually show up; reducing no-shows is a core part of the job.
- Keep the lead tracker accurate and current so every lead has a clear next step.
Run and close sales calls (weekends)
- Take sales calls for 2 hours on Saturdays & Sundays
- Convert interested prospects into Training Squad memberships, matching them to the right squad and time.
- Hand off new members cleanly to the studio General Manager and coaching team for onboarding.
Own your pipeline and report
- Take full ownership of your pipeline from first outreach to closed membership.
- Report weekly on calls booked, calls attended, and memberships closed, and flag what's working and what isn't.
