About the Role
Shared Health is seeking an experienced Business Analyst to support the Digital Shared Services project within Digital Health. The successful candidate will play a key role in supporting healthcare delivery transformation through the effective use of information and communication technology.
The Business Analyst will work closely with clinical, technical, operational, and other stakeholder groups to understand business needs, elicit and document requirements, map current and future-state processes, identify capability gaps, and support the implementation and configuration of healthcare information systems.
This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Business Analyst with strong healthcare technology experience, particularly in hospital Electronic Patient Record (EPR) and Electronic Home Care Record (EHCR) implementations.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct business analysis activities supporting complex healthcare information system implementation projects.
- Engage with clinical, technical, operational, and business stakeholders to elicit, analyze, validate, and document requirements.
- Facilitate workshops, interviews, discovery sessions, and requirements-gathering activities.
- Document business requirements, functional requirements, workflows, business processes, and system requirements.
- Develop and maintain current-state and future-state process maps.
- Analyze business processes and identify capability gaps, inefficiencies, risks, and opportunities for improvement.
- Gather technical and configuration requirements from clinical stakeholders across multiple hospitals.
- Support the implementation, configuration, testing, and adoption of healthcare applications.
- Work directly with hospital Electronic Patient Record (EPR) applications and related workflows.
- Contribute to Electronic Home Care Record (EHCR) implementation initiatives.
- Collaborate with project managers, technical teams, clinical teams, vendors, and other stakeholders throughout the project lifecycle.
- Support Agile/Scrum delivery activities and participate in relevant ceremonies as required.
- Apply organizational change management principles to support successful implementation and adoption.
- Produce clear and comprehensive business analysis documentation and project deliverables.
- Identify dependencies, risks, issues, and gaps and work with stakeholders to develop appropriate solutions.
- Ensure requirements and proposed solutions align with healthcare operational needs and project objectives.
Mandatory Qualifications & Certifications
The successful candidate must possess:

Certified Business Analysis Professional (CBAP) certification through IIBA. Proof of valid certification is required.

Prosci ADKAR Organizational Change Management certification. Proof of valid certification is required.
Preferred / Scored Certification

Certified ScrumMaster (CSM) certification is required/preferred as part of the evaluation criteria. Proof of certification should be provided.
Required Experience
Business Analysis & Process Mapping
- Minimum 10 years of experience performing business analysis activities supporting information system implementation projects and process mapping.
- Experience must include:

- Documenting business processes and workflows.
- Conducting gap analysis and identifying capability gaps.
