Research Assistant (Virtual Clinical Study)
Sidekick, an injury rehab products company, is running a fully virtual clinical study of a balance-training device for people recovering from ankle sprains. About 80 participants across Canada will complete a 28-day at-home program with virtual check-ins.
You'll be the participant's main point of contact. You will screen and enroll participants, run virtual study visits by video, guide them through standardized functional assessments, monitor daily symptom diaries and follow up on missed entries, and record data in the electronic data capture system according to protocol. You'll be trained on all assessments by the study's physiotherapist investigator and work alongside a clinical trial consultant on protocol compliance.
This role requires you to be in Canada. If that means relocating or flying in, it is worth checking fares before you commit to a start date.
