Quality Lead
This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a Quality Lead based in the United States.
The Quality Lead will drive quality management, compliance, inspection readiness, and continuous improvement across a mission-focused technical environment.
This role owns the Quality Management Plan and ensures that processes, procedures, and applicable requirements are consistently implemented.
You will lead a small quality team while partnering closely with project managers, government technical staff, customers, and other stakeholders.
The position combines hands-on quality assurance with data-driven assessments, risk identification, issue resolution, and process optimization.
You will also contribute to safety initiatives and help strengthen communication and performance across technical and operational teams.
The role is fully remote and offers the opportunity to support complex IT and 5G-related programs without requiring deep technical specialization. Success in this position requires strong leadership, communication, quality expertise, and a commitment to continuous improvement.
Accountabilities

Own, maintain, and continuously update the Quality Management Plan (QMP), ensuring processes, procedures, and applicable requirements remain current, compliant, and effectively implemented.

Lead and mentor a quality team of approximately 10β15 professionals, establishing accountability and supporting consistent quality outcomes.

Partner with project managers, stakeholders, government technical personnel, and customers to define requirements, identify risks, and determine appropriate corrective actions.

Develop and deliver clear quality reports, status updates, inspection findings, presentations, and senior-level briefings.

Design, lead, and continuously refine quality assurance inspection processes to support consistent delivery against performance and mission requirements.

Conduct quality assessments, test analysis, and data-driven evaluations to verify compliance and identify improvement opportunities.

Champion continuous improvement initiatives designed to improve organizational performance, optimize schedules, and reduce costs.

Identify and proactively address quality issues while supporting effective communication and resolution across stakeholders.

Promote appropriate safety precautions, lead safety-related briefings, and facilitate communication between senior management, safety teams, and contractor personnel.

Collaborate with IT and 5G program teams to integrate quality processes effectively into technical environments.

Support broader organizational quality, compliance, and operational excellence initiatives as required.
Requirements

8β10 years of relevant professional experience, with substantial experience in quality management and quality program execution.

Demonstrated ownership and management of a Quality Management Plan or comparable quality framework.

Experience leading small teams in quality, operations, engineering, or related environments.

Hands-on experience with QA inspection processes, quality assessments, test analysis, and continuous improvement methodologies.

Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to communicate effectively with technical, operational, government, and senior-level stakeholders.

Strong analytical, problem-solving, organizational, and stakeholder-management capabilities.

Active Secret security clearance and ability to maintain the required clearance.

U.S. citizenship is required.

Ability to work effectively in a fully remote environment.

Bachelorβs degree or equivalent professional experience preferred.

Experience supporting IT or 5G programs is preferred but not required.

Familiarity with Lean, Six Sigma, or similar continuous improvement methodologies is advantageous.

Ability to travel approximately 10β25% as required.
