About the Role

We are looking for a Purchasing Coordinator to support the purchasing team by following up on open purchase orders, communicating with suppliers, confirming order details, and tracking deliveries. The ideal candidate is organized, detail-oriented, and comfortable working with suppliers and internal teams to ensure materials arrive on time.
Key Responsibilities

Obtain supplier confirmations for purchase orders.

Verify quantities, pricing, and delivery dates against purchase orders.

Update order status, confirmed dates, and shipment details in the ERP system.

Regularly follow up with suppliers regarding open orders and upcoming deliveries.

Track shipments and ensure materials are delivered on time.

Expedite late or urgent orders when required.

Identify and report delays, shortages, pricing discrepancies, and other order issues.

Communicate order and delivery updates to Planning, Manufacturing, Receiving, and Quality teams.

Maintain open-order reports, supplier records, and purchasing documentation.

Support receiving activities and invoice discrepancy resolution.

Complete other purchasing-related tasks as assigned.

Requirements

-
2+ years of experience in purchasing, order management, supply chain, procurement, or customer service.

Strong attention to detail and excellent organizational skills.

-
Strong follow-up and communication skills.

-
Experience working with an ERP system is preferred.

- Working knowledge of Microsoft Excel.

Ability to manage multiple orders and priorities in a timely manner.

-
Associate degree or equivalent relevant experience is preferred.

-
Experience in dietary supplements, food, pharmaceutical, or regulated manufacturing is a plus.
