✨The core mission of the Public Sector Field Marketing Specialist:
You will plan and execute Hack The Box events and field activities for Public Sector audiences across federal, state, local, and education markets. Working closely with the Public Sector Sales team, you will help deliver conferences, executive gatherings, workshops, webinars, and partner events that create valuable opportunities to meet customers and prospects.
This is a hands-on role for someone who enjoys turning an event plan into a well-run experience. You will manage timelines, vendors, registrations, materials, onsite details, and post-event follow-up while keeping Sales and Marketing informed along the way.
During your first six months, you will build relationships with the Public Sector Sales team, take ownership of upcoming event logistics, establish a reliable planning process, and help improve how we prepare for and follow up after each event.

🍺 The fellowship you’ll be joining:
Reporting to the Global Director of Field Marketing, you will join Hack The Box’s global marketing organization and work closely with the AMER Field Marketing, Demand Generation, Partner Marketing, Product Marketing, Content, Digital, Brand, Communications, and Marketing Operations teams.
You will be the primary field marketing partner to the Public Sector Sales organization, ensuring that Public Sector priorities are represented across the broader marketing strategy.

- Public Sector events are delivered on time, within budget, and with a strong attendee experience.
- Sales has the information, materials, and support needed before each event.
- Event invitations, registration, staffing, vendors, and onsite logistics are well coordinated.
- Leads and attendee information are captured accurately and shared promptly for follow-up.
- Event results and feedback are documented to help improve future programs.

🚀 The adventures that await you once you start as a Public Sector Field Marketing Specialist at Hack The Box:
- Coordinate the Public Sector event calendar, including third-party conferences, Hack The Box hosted events, executive gatherings, workshops, webinars, and partner activities.
- Manage event logistics from kickoff through completion, including timelines, budgets, vendor coordination, contracts, registration, signage, shipping, staffing, and onsite needs.
- Partner with Public Sector Sales to confirm event goals, target attendees, invitations, meeting schedules, and team responsibilities.
- Work with internal teams to request and deliver event emails, landing pages, presentations, booth materials, giveaways, and other assets.
- Support attendee outreach and registration, track responses, and keep Sales informed of progress.
- Prepare event briefs and staffing instructions so everyone knows the schedule, key contacts, and their responsibilities.
- Provide onsite support when needed, helping resolve issues and keep the event running smoothly.
- Coordinate post-event lead handoff and follow-up with Sales and Marketing Operations.
- Track event spending, attendance, meetings, leads, and feedback, and share a concise recap after each program.
- Maintain organized event plans, vendor information, and templates that make future events easier to execute.
🏆 Skills, knowledge, and experience points required to unlock the role of Public Sector Field Marketing Specialist at Hack The Box:
- At least 2 years of B2B marketing or event marketing experience, with hands-on responsibility for planning and executing events.
- Experience supporting Public Sector events or marketing programs is preferred.
- Strong project management skills and close attention to detail.
- Experience coordinating vendors, budgets, timelines, event materials, and onsite logistics.
- Ability to manage several events at once and communicate clearly when priorities or plans change.
- Confidence working directly with Sales teams and a range of internal stakeholders.
- Familiarity with CRM, marketing automation, registration, or lead capture tools; HubSpot experience is a plus.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Willingness to travel for events as needed.

- Base Gross Salary: USD 80,000-95,000
