About the job:
Do you have a background in Psychology? At TELUS Digital, we are looking for freelancers to help make the internet a safer place. You don't need to be a tech expert or a computer scientist. Your job is to use your understanding of human behavior and mental health to check if AI-generated content is safe, helpful, and responsible. You are the 'Human Compass' that helps the AI understand people better.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Safety Reviews: Review content that has been flagged as potentially risky or harmful and decide if it follows safety rules.

2. Behavior Analysis: Look at how an AI interacts with users and identify if it is showing any biased or unfair behavior.

3. Risk Reporting: Identify 'gray areas' where an AI might give bad advice and suggest better, safer ways for it to respond.

4. Mental Health Awareness: Use your degree to ensure the AI recognizes sensitive topics and handles them with care.

Assessment:

In order to be hired into our community, you'll go through a subject-specific qualification exam that will determine your suitability for the position and complete ID verification.

- 3. English Proficiency: Basic (B1) English so you can read our project guides and safety rules.
- 4. Empathy & Logic: You are good at understanding how people feel and spotting risks that others might miss.
