Work Location: This position is designated as remote. However, employees who reside within a 40-mile radius of one of our office locations in Tampa, FL; Canonsburg, PA; or Bowie, MD will follow a hybrid work schedule and are expected to work in the office two days per week (Tuesdays and Wednesdays).
Overview: The Product Owner is responsible for establishing a deep product expertise both from a technical and market perspective by understanding buyer and user personas, value proposition, benefits, features and functionality, competitive landscape, architecture, code base, and technical components. This person collaborates closely with other product owners, product managers, scrum master(s), and development managers to leverage Agile processes and tools which support product requirements, sprint review, backlog refinement (grooming), sprint planning, retrospectives, and backlog/ticket creation. This role will partner closely with product managers in reviewing product roadmaps and drive the prioritization of work accordingly. Duties and Responsibilities:

Own feature enhancements within the Claims prioritized backlog, drive sprint planning, backlog refinement, reviews, and retrospectives in partnership with engineering.
- Drive end-to-end claims processing capabilities and automation across all payer types (Medicare, Medicaid, and commercial), ensuring compliance with HIPAA and ICD-10 standards; leverage industry-standard formats (837 UB/1500) and rules engines to achieve high first-pass rates and minimize denials.
- Lead integration of Electronic Data Interchange (EDI) transactions and revenue cycle workflows to streamline claim submission, ERA reconciliation, and secondary claim handling; partner with engineering and payer teams to optimize automation, reduce administrative burden, and accelerate reimbursement cycles.

- Drive strong collaboration across internal stakeholders including product, engineering, corporate development, and marketing to ensure timely execution and delivery of our products to market.
