About the Company

Zenara Health is a technology-oriented mental healthcare organization building modern software for behavioral-health clinics. Our products include Assess and Zenflow , which support clinical workflows, assessments, care management, and operational delivery ..

We are a startup, not a department. We move quickly, use AI heavily, and expect each person to own meaningful outcomes rather than wait for process to be handed down.

About the Role

We are looking for a Product & Delivery Lead who can turn rough ideas into designed, buildable, and shippable product work.

This is not a pure project management role.

This is not a pure UI design role.

This is a hands-on product role for someone who can do both: design the experience and drive the delivery.

Today, product ideas, customer requests, UI/UX decisions, backlog ownership, and sprint tracking sit too heavily with the founder and Head of Engineering. Without this role, the roadmap drifts, requirements remain unclear, and engineering builds from incomplete direction ..

You will work closely with the founder on product vision and roadmap, with the Head of Engineering on delivery, and with commercial and clinical stakeholders to turn feedback into clear priorities ..

Here is the test: can you take a vague customer or founder request, understand the workflow, design the interface, write the acceptance criteria, prioritize the work, and keep the sprint moving until the feature ships?

Our Product Operating Vision

We are building an AI-native software company, but strong product judgment still matters.

AI can help research, summarize feedback, draft requirements, generate options, and speed up prototyping. But the product owner must still decide what matters, what should be built, what trade-offs are acceptable, and what “done” means.

You will help create the product operating rhythm at Zenara, including:
- Clear product discovery
- Fast UI/UX exploration
- Practical prototypes
- Requirements with examples and edge cases
- Acceptance criteria engineering can actually build against
- Backlog hygiene
- Sprint planning and review
- Customer feedback loops
- Delivery visibility across the team

The goal is to help engineering move faster because the product work is clear, designed, and prioritized.

What You’ll Do
- Turn product ideas into sketches, workflows, clickable prototypes, and final UI/UX.
- Own and maintain the product roadmap with the founder and commercial team . .
- Write requirements with user flows, examples, edge cases, and acceptance criteria.
- Own the active backlog and sprint rhythm in Linear . .
- Keep tickets clear, prioritized, and ready for engineering.
- Chase decisions, clarify trade-offs, and prevent delivery from getting stuck.
- Collect customer and commercial feedback and turn it into prioritized product work.
- Review finished work against acceptance criteria before release.
- Use AI tools for research, drafting, prototyping, synthesis, and delivery tracking.
- Help define reusable UI patterns and product conventions across Assess and Zenflow.

What We’re Looking For
- Strong UI/UX ability, with real examples of product flows, prototypes, or shipped interfaces.
- Product management judgment: prioritization, roadmap ownership, trade-offs, and clear decision-making.
- Experience running sprints or delivery for a software team.
- Ability to write clear acceptance criteria with examples and edge cases.
- Comfort working with engineers and translating between customer needs and technical execution.
- Daily use of AI tools such as ChatGPT, Claude, or similar systems for research, drafting, prototyping, or planning .
- High ownership, curiosity, and willingness to learn fast.
- Strong communication and follow-through.

Tools and Domain
- Linear
- Figma or similar design/prototyping tools
- ChatGPT, Claude, or similar AI tools
- Clinical software for behavioral-health clinics
- Assess and Zenflow product workflows

What “AI-Native Product” Means for This Role

For this role, being AI-native means you can:
- Use AI to speed up product research and synthesis.
- Convert rough conversations into structured requirements.
- Generate and compare product options quickly.
- Draft acceptance criteria and edge cases, then refine them with human judgment.
- Use AI to support delivery tracking without losing accountability.
- Move faster without producing vague, generic, or unvalidated product work.

AI should make your product work sharper, not lazier.

Nice to Have
- Healthcare, health-tech, or clinical-workflow experience.
- Ability to read basic code or technical documentation.
- Experience with Figma or similar prototyping tools.
- Startup experience.

What Success Looks Like

In your first 30 days, you will own the active backlog and sprint review, clarify the next few features with prototypes and acceptance criteria, and set up a simple customer-feedback loop ..

Within your first 90 days, the roadmap will be owned and reviewed regularly with the founder, every new feature will begin from your prototype and acceptance criteria, and sprints will run without the Head of Engineering needing to track them ..

Over time, success means owning product delivery across Assess and Zenflow, improving on-time delivery and user acceptance, and establishing reusable design patterns for the team.

Schedule

This role requires meaningful overlap with the US-based founder and the India-based engineering team. India evening availability is expected. Final collaboration hours can be confirmed during the hiring process.

Outside live collaboration, we care about output, clarity, responsiveness, and delivery ownership.

Compensation and Benefits
- Competitive compensation, based on demonstrated ability and experience
- Fully remote work
- Equipment allowance
- Direct access to the founder and Head of Engineering
- Significant ownership of product direction in an early-stage company

Who Will Thrive in This Role

This role is well suited to someone who:
- Enjoys both design and delivery.
- Can turn ambiguity into a clear product plan.
- Is hands-on enough to prototype, write requirements, and check work.
- Likes working directly with founders and engineers.
- Uses AI to move faster but still thinks carefully.
- Wants to build the product function, not just inherit one.

You may struggle if you only coordinate, cannot design, write vague requirements, avoid AI tools, or need a mature process where decisions are already made ..

If you want to shape product delivery in an AI-native health-tech startup, we would love to hear from you.

Flights + hotels

This role requires you to be in India. If that means relocating or flying in, it is worth checking fares before you commit to a start date.
