The Opportunity
The Retail & Hospitality Information Sharing and Analysis Center (RH-ISAC) seeks a strategic, relationship-driven President to lead the organization into its next chapter of growth and impact.
RH-ISAC is the trusted cybersecurity community for retail, hospitality, and other consumer-facing organizations. Its members include leading retailers, restaurants, hotels, gaming organizations, travel companies, food retailers, and consumer products companies. RH-ISAC connects information security teams at the strategic, operational, and tactical levels to exchange intelligence, address emerging threats, share leading practices, and build stronger, more resilient organizations.
The next President will inherit a highly respected organization, an engaged member community, a talented team, and a collaborative, high-trust culture. Reporting to the Board of Directors, this executive will build upon RH-ISAC’s strong foundation while bringing strategic vision, innovation, operational discipline, and a willingness to take thoughtful, calculated risks.
Key opportunities include expanding membership and international reach, strengthening member engagement and value, advancing RH-ISAC’s intelligence-sharing capabilities, and helping the organization and its members navigate the increasing impact of artificial intelligence and other emerging technologies.
Key Responsibilities
Strategy, Growth, and Member Value
- Partner with the Board and leadership team to establish and execute RH-ISAC’s strategic direction and three-year roadmap.
- Drive sustainable membership growth, engagement, retention, and international expansion.
- Advance the organization’s intelligence-sharing capabilities, educational offerings, research, communications, and brand visibility.
- Anticipate emerging cybersecurity and technology trends and translate them into relevant strategies and services.
- Serve as a visible, accessible, and credible ambassador for RH-ISAC and its mission.
Board, Team, and Culture Leadership
- Build a transparent, productive, and trusted relationship with the Board of Directors.
- Keep the Board informed of organizational performance, strategic progress, finances, risks, and opportunities.
- Lead and develop a talented team while preserving RH-ISAC’s collaborative, high-accountability, and high-trust culture.
- Establish clear priorities, expectations, and performance measures while empowering staff to lead within their areas of expertise.
- Model humility, authenticity, transparency, sound judgment, and respect.
Financial and Organizational Stewardship
- Ensure RH-ISAC’s long-term financial strength, operational effectiveness, and regulatory compliance.
- Oversee the annual budget, financial reporting, organizational policies, talent practices, and succession planning.
- Align staffing, resources, and investments with the organization’s strategic priorities.
- Cultivate productive relationships with government agencies, industry leaders, trade associations, service providers, and other strategic partners.
