Position: Medical Safety Expert
Type: Contract
Compensation: $140–$190/hour
Location: Remote
Commitment: 20–25 hours/week
Role Responsibilities

- Generate and validate the safety layer of clinical data rooms, including adverse event data, SAE records, patient narratives, discontinuations, and protocol deviations.

- Author full DSURs and PBRERs and their component sections, designing prompts, golden outputs, and rubrics to quantify AI agent capabilities.

- Interpret active benefit-risk against cumulative safety data, exposure estimates, and signal detection output.

- Conduct full fatal-case workups, including investigator versus sponsor causality.

- Work independently and asynchronously to meet deadlines while improving AI model performance .

Qualifications

Must-Have

- 5+ years of experience required; 10–25 years preferred.

- MD , PharmD , PhD , or equivalent.

- Experience authoring aggregate safety reports across both pre-commercial ( DSUR ) and post-commercial ( PBRER ) reporting.

- Comfortable with active benefit-risk interpretation and full fatal-case workups.
