We’re looking for a proactive, organized People Ops Generalist to step in for a 6-month contract to cover maternity leave. You’ll work closely with our current Generalist for a 4-6 week hands-on overlap to get fully up to speed, keep things running smoothly, and assist with a seamless handoff.
What You’ll Do

This is primarily a tactical, maintenance-focused role centered on core HR operations and logistics. Your main focus areas will include:

-
Onboarding & Offboarding: Coordinate and support HR processes for both full-time and part-time team members using ADP Workforce Now and Asana, including state-specific compliance paperwork for end-of-year 2027 updates.

-
Benefits & ACA Compliance: Monitor ACA compliance reports within ADP Workforce Now to identify and offer full-time benefits to eligible part-time employees.

-
Leave Administration: Oversee leave tracking and answer employee questions regarding leave processes with empathy and clarity.

-
Compliance Training: Maintain tracking, schedule assignments, and handle follow-ups for team training via EasyLlama.

-
Job Description Maintenance: Keep job descriptions organized, formatted, and up to date across teams as needed.

-
Knowledge Transfer & Handoff: Train directly with our People Ops Generalist during your first month, document key workflows, and support a smooth transition upon return.

What We’re Looking For

-
Experience: 2+ years of hands-on experience in People Operations, HR Support, or HR Generalist roles.

-
Tech-Savvy: Tech-forward and quick to pick up new tools. Prior experience with ADP Workforce Now, Asana, or EasyLlama is a big plus, but not required if you learn systems quickly.

-
Process & Detail-Oriented: Highly organized, proactive, and reliable when it comes to keeping administrative tasks and employee records running like clockwork.

-
Communication & Empathy: Strong written and verbal communication skills with a friendly, welcoming approach to supporting teammates through leave, onboarding, and day-to-day HR needs.

-
Self-Starter: Comfortable working fully remote and managing day-to-day tactical priorities independently.

Final compensation is based on candidate experience and relevant certifications/qualifications.
