Oncology Administrative Nurse-Remote

Role:

Through a respectful, constructive and energetic style, guided by the objectives of Adjuvant Behavioral Health , this role is responsible for processing prescriptions and speaking with patients, in coordination with Adjuvant’s clinical guidance. This is a Part-time position with hours ranging from 10-20 per week.
Pay: $35-40/hr depending on experience
Primary Responsibilities:

- Ensure that all Adjuvant Behavioral Health patients receive the direct and proper care they need, including creating, implementing and evaluating patient care plans with the medical team

- Assess, observe and communicate regularly with Adjuvant Behavioral Health patients re: prescriptions and refill requests

- Administer and fulfill all prescription and refill requests for all Adjuvant patients, including monitoring patients for side effects

- Oversee prescription administration and processes for the respective ABH med psychiatry team

- Willing to work PRN to cover the clinic, when the other nurse is out of office

- Partner with providers, Psychiatrist and Clinical Director in ensuring that ABH meets medically-related regulatory and legal requirements

- Adhere to highest standards of ethics and excellence in support of ABH’s mission to provide high quality and accessible behavioral healthcare to oncology patients, their families and caregivers

Minimum Qualifications:

- Associates or Bachelors Degree from an accredited college or university, including state licensure

- Two years of professional level experience in a nursing setting

- Current and active Registered Nurse (RN) license issued by the Texas Board of Nursing.

Preferred Qualifications:

- 2+ years experience in healthcare with oncology

- 1 year experience in Telehealth Settings
