About the Role
Client's global network infrastructure relies on thousands of external partners โ internet
service providers (ISPs), colocation facilities, hardware vendors, and managed service
providers. We're building a centralized platform to manage all of these relationships,
contacts, and service data in one place.
What You'll Do
Build Workflow Automation
โ Design and implement automated workflows for partner onboarding, contact updates,
service renewals, and data lifecycle management
โ Create self-service tools that allow operations teams to perform bulk data operations
without needing engineering support
โ Build automated alerting for stale data, missing information, or expiring service
agreements
Develop Data Pipelines & Integrations
โ Build ETL pipelines that synchronize partner data across multiple internal systems
โ Automate the migration of legacy data from spreadsheets, wikis, and siloed
databases into the centralized platform
โ Develop reconciliation scripts to detect discrepancies between systems and maintain
data consistency
Automate Operational Processes
โ Build tools that auto-retrieve relevant partner contacts during network incidents,
reducing response time
โ Create automated escalation and outreach workflows triggered by network events
โ Develop runbook automation to standardize and speed up repetitive operational
tasks
Monitor & Report
โ Build dashboards tracking data quality, freshness, and platform adoption
โ Implement automated health checks and audit scripts to detect duplicates, orphaned
records, or incomplete entries
โ Create scheduled reports for leadership on automation ROI and data integrity metrics
What We're Looking For
Required:
โ 3+ years experience in automation engineering, data engineering, or DevOps
โ Strong proficiency in Python (scripting, API integrations, data manipulation)
โ Experience building and consuming APIs (REST and/or GraphQL)
โ Familiarity with SQL and data pipeline/ETL concepts
โ Experience with job scheduling and orchestration tools (Airflow, cron, or similar)
โ Understanding of data quality principles (validation, deduplication, reconciliation)
โ Comfortable working with large datasets across multiple source systems
โ Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently
Preferred:
โ Experience with PHP or Hack (server-side scripting)
โ Familiarity with graph databases or relationship/entity management systems
โ Experience with CRM, MDM (Master Data Management), or vendor management
platforms
โ Understanding of network infrastructure concepts (ISPs, peering, colocation, Points
of Presence)
โ Experience with Thrift or similar RPC frameworks
โ Background in telecom, network operations, or infrastructure services
โ Experience automating processes in a large-scale enterprise environment

Salary Range
$72,960.00 - $115,200.00 USD (Salary)
