Mobile Engineer

We are looking for a Mobile Engineer to join the product team behind StudyIn, Japan’s No. 1 overseas education travel service. Blued is rapidly growing its international business, with video media at the core of its platform. We are currently scaling our gross transaction value from tens of billions of yen toward hundreds of billions. We are a self-funded company operating one of Japan’s largest educational travel services, with gross transaction value in the tens of billions of yen and operating profit in the hundreds of millions. Our goal is to build a vertically integrated global education travel platform and become the company that helps more people make life-changing experiences than anyone else in the world. Responsibilities - Develop products for prospective study abroad participants and current students - Develop an English conversation app - Plan, design, and implement AI agents, such as: - Travel management agents - Agents that follow up on visas and travel documents - Automated study abroad reporting agents Requirements - 3+ years of professional development experience as a mobile engineer - Experience building both mobile applications and server-side APIs - Experience designing, developing, and operating cross-platform applications using Flutter, React Native (Expo), or similar technologies - Ability to use tools such as Claude Code and Codex while independently evaluating their output and turning it into high-quality designs and code - We are not looking for engineers who simply hand work over to AI and accept the results as long as they run. You should be able to critically review AI-generated suggestions, assess their technical validity, and decide whether to adopt or modify them. - We believe that in the age of AI, an engineer’s own technical expertise and decision-making abilities are more important than ever.
