Role Overview And Core Responsibilities - 3+ years of hands-on QA experience, including both manual and automated testing. - Write, maintain, and enhance automated test scripts using tools like Playwright with TypeScript. - Contribute to the stability and scalability of the test automation framework. - Collaborate with developers to integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines. - Use tools such as Postman, Playwright’s API testing features, or similar to validate RESTful APIs and backend services. - Design and execute test cases for various API scenarios including authentication, error handling, and edge cases. - Perform manual and automated testing across web and mobile platforms. - Validate functionality, performance, usability, and reliability of applications. - Ensure comprehensive test coverage for new features and regression testing. - Log defects clearly and concisely using tools like Jira, including steps to reproduce, expected vs actual results, and screenshots/logs. - Follow up on bug fixes and verify resolutions. - Actively participate in Agile ceremonies such as daily stand-ups, sprint planning, backlog grooming, and retrospectives. - Work closely with developers, product owners, and other stakeholders to align on quality goals and timelines. - Use Git or other version control systems to manage test scripts and collaborate with the development team. - Proactively seek opportunities to improve testing processes and product quality.
