Team Overview
The role requires a QA professional with 3+ years of experience in both manual and automated testing, with a strong focus on building and maintaining automation using Playwright and TypeScript. The candidate will ensure application quality across web and mobile platforms by validating functionality, performance, usability, and reliability. Responsibilities include API testing, comprehensive test case design, defect tracking in Jira, and regression testing. The role collaborates closely with developers and other stakeholders, integrates testing into CI/CD pipelines, participates actively in Agile ceremonies, uses Git for version control, and continuously seeks ways to improve testing processes and overall product quality.This is a remote position which may require occasional in-person attendance at work-related events at the discretion of management. 3+ years of hands-on QA experience, including both manual and automated testing.

Write, maintain, and enhance automated test scripts using tools like Playwright with TypeScript.

Contribute to the stability and scalability of the test automation framework.

Collaborate with developers to integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines.

Use tools such as Postman, Playwright’s API testing features, or similar to validate RESTful APIs and backend services.

Design and execute test cases for various API scenarios including authentication, error handling, and edge cases.

Perform manual and automated testing across web and mobile platforms.

Validate functionality, performance, usability, and reliability of applications.

Ensure comprehensive test coverage for new features and regression testing.

Log defects clearly and concisely using tools like Jira, including steps to reproduce, expected vs actual results, and screenshots/logs.
