BioPharma Consulting JAD Group is seeking an experienced Practice Development Manager for our client, a fast-growing digital eye care platform that supports thousands of optometry practices nationwide. The platform’s marketplace brings doctor-curated retail products (readers, sunglasses, OTC items and more) directly into the practice.

In this role, you will own marketplace performance across a growing territory of practices. You will get practices live on the platform, train doctors and staff, and change how practices sell. This is a revenue-driven role at its core, built on change management. Software adoption succeeds or fails at the front desk, and your job is to make sure it succeeds.

Key Responsibilities

Territory and Revenue Ownership
- Own a territory of practices end to end: activation, training, adoption and revenue growth
- Drive attach rate and revenue per practice as your primary performance metrics
- Use data to manage your territory: revive stalled practices and scale what top performers do

Training and Change Management
- Lead change management inside each practice so the platform becomes part of the daily workflow, not an extra step
- Train practice teams, from front desk to optical, on the platform and on in-exam selling so recommendations convert at the chair
- Build daily habits through regular in-practice visits, follow-ups and check-ins, so doctors recommend at every exam and staff place orders consistently

Sales and Client Partnership
- Sell at two levels: the doctor on the curated retail model, and the staff on daily platform use
- Monitor orders in each practice, catch drop-offs and make sure recommendations become completed purchases
- Act as the day-to-day partner to pilot practices: share performance feedback, show what’s working elsewhere and keep them engaged through the early stages of a new platform

Insights and Best Practices
- Report pilot feedback to leadership and product teams: what staff are saying, where workflows break, and what’s driving or blocking sales
- Turn top-performer success stories into playbooks and share them across the territory

Must-Have Skills
- Sales experience in the optical industry
- Strong existing relationships in the optical community
- Solid understanding of optometry office and patient flow

Qualifications
- 8+ years of experience in optical retail, practice management or retail field leadership, with a proven record of driving in-store sales
- Experience onboarding and coaching front-line staff and making new processes stick
- Tech-savvy: you learn new software quickly and can teach it to others
- Revenue-driven: you have carried targets tied to store or practice performance
- Credible with both clinicians and front-line retail staff
- Comfortable working in the field daily across a large geographic territory

Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in SaaS, healthcare technology or software platform adoption

- Contract position: approximately 6 months, with possible extension

- Schedule: full-time, field-based daytime schedule (40 hours/week)
- Location: Remote – East Coast, with up to 75% travel (travel expenses reimbursed)
