micro1 is engaging Litigation Associate Attorneys from top-tier US law firms to contribute expertise to a dynamic customer project. In this role, you'll apply your expertise to help train next-generation AI systems. Your work will shape how models learn, reason, and perform through high-quality, real-world input. No prior experience in AI is required โ€” your domain knowledge is what matters.
Scope of Work

- Review, analyze, and provide feedback on complex litigation and transactional documents, including contracts related to M&A, private equity, and capital markets activities.

- Draft sample agreements and legal clauses, leveraging experience with high-value M&A transactions and private equity deals.

- Evaluate legal scenarios and offer structured commentary to inform AI model development in areas such as data privacy and cross-border transactions.

- Collaborate remotely with interdisciplinary teams to provide legal insight and ensure accuracy in simulated legal tasks and scenarios.

- Contribute to the development of legal frameworks and decision rubrics (review rubric experience is a plus, but not required).

- Participate in iterative feedback cycles to refine training data, ensuring legal precision and practical applicability.

Preferred Qualifications

- JD from a US law school and active bar admission in good standing within the United States.

- Experience at an AmLaw 100 or similarly prestigious law firm, specifically with litigation and complex transactional matters.

- Demonstrated expertise in M&A, private equity, capital markets, contract drafting, and data privacy.

- Excellent written communication skills and the ability to articulate sophisticated legal reasoning for varied audiences.

- Proven track record of successful remote collaboration and multidisciplinary teamwork.

- Familiarity with developing or applying structured review rubrics is desirable.

- Strong research, analytical, and problem-solving capabilities, with a keen attention to detail in high-stakes legal contexts.
