Key Responsibilities
Contract Management: Draft, review, and assist in negotiating commercial agreements with payment service providers (PSPs), software vendors, and third-party suppliers.
Compliance & KYB Support: Provide hands-on support for Know Your Business (KYB) procedures, including verifying and onboarding corporate partners.
Policy Development: Assist in preparing, updating, and implementing internal corporate policies, rules, and compliance frameworks (e.g., AML/CFT policies).
Legal Research: Conduct detailed analytical research on global and regional legislative developments to support business expansion and product compliance.
Requirements & Qualifications
Strong analytical mind: Ability to dissect complex legal texts, identify potential risks, and propose structured solutions.
Industry Awareness: A solid, business-level understanding of the cryptocurrency, blockchain, and fintech sectors.
Foundational Understanding: A clear conceptual understanding (rather than deep operational proficiency) of European licensing regimes, specifically MiCA , MiFID , and EMI/PSD .
Compliance Frameworks: Good knowledge of international AML (Anti-Money Laundering) regulations and the Crypto Travel Rule .
