About the Role

Attentive’s Data Platform is responsible for collecting high-quality first-party data for our brands and resolving its identity to a unified customer profile that every downstream product depends on. As the Lead Product Manager, Identity and First-Party Data Platform, you will own web collection and identity layers, that directly impact many of Attentive’s downstream product areas ability to personalize every message.
This role sits at the intersection of infrastructure and intelligence. You will lead the development of an autonomous, self-improving data collection system using Attentive’s first party tag — one that continuously detects gaps in coverage, generates and validates fixes, and deploys improvements across our client base without manual intervention. In parallel, you will expand our Identity capabilities, ensuring that behavioral signals are reliably resolved to known users and that user data is unified across channels and devices using both deterministic and probabilistic techniques to maximize downstream messaging performance, while maintaining marketer trust.
This is a high-scope, high-visibility role that requires both deep technical fluency in web data collection, identity resolution and the strategic instinct to turn infrastructure investments into measurable client outcomes.
What You’ll Accomplish
- Build and own the roadmap for an AI-driven data quality system — a pipeline that detects collection gaps in 1st party data, generates configuration fixes, validates them through controlled experimentation, and promotes successful changes to production without manual effort.
- Own the roadmap for Attentive’s web-based first-party data collection (client-side and server-side), defining how brands instrument and bring data into the platform
- Define and instrument success metrics for 1st party data quality across the platform, including coverage rates, match rates, and downstream performance impact, and use them to drive prioritization and executive alignment.
- Define and continuously improve the quality of Attentive’s identity graph, partnering with Engineering and Data Science to test new signals and resolution strategies and quantify their impact on personalization and performance.
- Partner closely with engineering, data science, and GTM to move from semi-manual experimentation to fully automated, continuously improving data collection at scale.
- Translate complex instrumentation systems into intuitive, self-service experiences for customers and internal teams — reducing reliance on manual support and engineering intervention.

Your Expertise
- 5+ years of product management experience, with direct exposure to web analytics, web event tracking, first-party data collection, identity resolution or instrumentation platforms
