Contract Type: Part-time
Location: Ichigaya, Tokyo　2-minute walk from Ichigaya Station (Nanboku Line)

You will initially be based at ISLE; however, moving forward, there is a possibility you could be transferred to Tesoro International School—or take on a dual role as we open new school locations!

■About Us
ISLE Yoyogi-Uehara is an at-home, international preschool that provides a warm and engaging learning environment for children aged 1–12. We offer small class sizes (max 10 students per teacher) to ensure each child receives personalized attention and meaningful interaction.

■Responsibilities
-Plan and conduct daily lessons based on the school's curriculum
-Lead classroom activities such as circle time, songs, arts and crafts, and play-based learning
-Provide care and support during daily routines (snack, toilet support, activities, transitions)
-Maintain a safe and positive classroom environment
-Communicate effectively with staff and contribute to school operations
-Prepare the classroom before lessons and clean up after class
-Participate in seasonal school events and meetings when needed

■Requirements
Must-have
-Currently live in Japan and have a valid visa.
-Native-level English proficiency
-Be punctual and responsible.
-Eager to learn and try new things.
-Be an active thinker, patient, friendly and flexible.
-Be a good observer.
-Be able to Expand ideas of each class based on the school’s curriculum (Creative Curriculum)
-Experience working with young children (1–6 years old)

Nice-to-have
-Basic knowledge of Japanese language
-Experience in early childhood education
-Ability to work independently and manage small groups
-Enjoy dancing and singing with kids

■Contract & Compensation
-This is a Part-time position (パートタイマー/アルバイト) with hourly payment.

Hourly Wage: ¥1,500 – ¥2,500 / hour
(Commensurate with qualifications and experience)

Transportation allowance provided

■Working Hours
-Preschool Program (Currently closed):
9:30–13:30

-Kindergarten Program:
15:20–17:20

-Elementary Program:
17:30-18:30

You may work either program or all, depending on availability.

■Start Date
Negotiable / Immediate start available
