Machinovate operates Snow Monkey Resorts, Nagano's best-reviewed tour operator and a leading destination management company in Central Japan. We provide a range of services for international visitors and foreign residents, including tours, private charters, restaurants, and hotel accommodation.

We are seeking hotel operations staff to join our team in Nozawa Onsen, one of Japan's most renowned ski resort destinations. This position offers a varied and dynamic working environment and the opportunity to build a long-term career in Japan's hospitality industry.

【About the Role］
The successful candidate will be enthusiastic about living and working in Japan, communicate confidently with guests from a wide range of backgrounds, and demonstrate punctuality and professionalism. Flexibility and a willingness to respond to the needs and expectations of guests and colleagues are essential.

【Language Requirements］
• Fluent spoken and written English
• Fluent spoken and written Japanese

【Key Responsibilities］
• Respond to booking enquiries and general enquiries by email and telephone in English and Japanese
• Communicate with travel agents and partner organizations
• Perform front desk duties, including guest check-in and check-out
• Provide professional customer service in the hotel's restaurants and launge areas
• Manage social media accounts, including Facebook, X, and Instagram, and create engaging content
• Respond to guest concerns and handle complaints professionally

【Working days］
Five days per week, based on a shift schedule

【Working hours］
Approximately eight hours per day, scheduled between 7:00 a.m. and 11:00 p.m.

【Weekends and holidays］
As this is a tourism and hospitality role, some weekend and public-holiday work is required. Working hours and workload may vary during peak seasons.

【Days off］
Two days per week

【Additional leave］
Special leave during the low season
Paid leave
10 days granted after six months of employment, with one additional day granted each year thereafter.

【Location】
Nozawa Onsen, Nagano Prefecture

【Salary】
JPY 270,000 to JPY 310,000 per month, including a fixed overtime allowance covering up to 45 hours per month
Compensation will be determined based on the candidate's previous salary and experience. Any overtime exceeding the hours covered by the fixed overtime allowance will be paid separately.

Salary reviews: Twice a year

【Bonuses】 Paid twice a year

【Probation period】 Three months, under the same employment conditions

【Other Allowance】
Relocation allowance: JPY 100,000, payable with the first salary payment.
Commuting allowance: Up to JPY 15,000 per month

【Insurance】 Health insurance, employees' pension insurance, employment insurance, and workers' compensation insurance

【Accommodation and Visa Support】
• Staff accommodation is available upon request, subject to availability
• Private bedrooms with shared kitchen, toilet, and washroom facilities
• Visa sponsorship is available
