At Learning Tree, the main classroom teachers work closely with assistant teachers, administrators, school leaders, and parents. Together, we are committed to providing an excellent education for every student. Teachers are responsible for both the academic and social development of their students and are expected to be professional, responsible, and student-centered.

Position Details

Grade Levels:
PreK – Middle School
(A valid teaching license is required for Elementary and Middle School positions)
We want to work with teachers who have a strong passion in a particular area, whether it be theater, music, art, science, dance, history, technology, literature, languages, athletics, design, or other fields. We value each teacher’s passion and strive to place them in roles where they can truly shine and share their strengths with students.

Working Hours:
Monday–Friday, 9:00 AM – 6:00 PM (including a 1-hour break)

Preparation Time:
Teachers are provided with regular weekly prep time, including scheduled morning planning blocks and additional preparation periods depending on their role.

PreKinder: 4 min from Kiba Station / 1 min from Tsukishima Station
Elementary & Middle: 3 min from Kiba Station (Tozai Line)

Compensation:
PreKinder Teachers (ages 2–6): From ¥290,000/month
Elementary & Middle School Teachers: From ¥350,000/month

We also support long-term staff in their professional growth, including assistance with teaching certification and the IB Educator Certificate.
