Position: Bilingual Hindi STEM Expert (PhD) — AI Safety
Type: Contract
Compensation: $23–$27/hour
Location: Remote
Role Responsibilities

- Write expert-level prompts in Hindi across specialized scientific topics.

- Evaluate and annotate model responses for scientific accuracy, helpfulness, and appropriate handling of sensitive content.

- Apply structured guidelines to classify prompts and conversations.

- Work independently and asynchronously to ensure the safety of AI models in handling technical topics.

- Collaborate with AI research teams to improve model performance and safety.

Qualifications

Must-Have

- PhD in chemistry , biology , or a closely related field.

- Native or near-native fluency in Hindi and business-level written English .

- Deep familiarity with modern laboratory and computational techniques in your subfield.

- Sound judgment around scientific safety and responsible handling of dual-use information.

Preferred

- Based in India or the wider South Asia region.

- Expertise in radiochemistry , nuclear chemistry , or related fields.

- Demonstrated depth in a specific subfield like organic synthesis , molecular biology , or genetics .

- Experience in reviewing, grading, or red-teaming technical content.
