𝗔𝗯𝗼𝘂𝘁 𝗨𝘀:

Hi, I'm Harry, founder of AddSomeAI. Before starting the business two years ago, I worked as a software developer at Jaguar Land Rover. I moved into AI early, and now looking for help in delivering the solutions alongside it.

We work with business owners to understand their challenges and build solutions using AI and automation. This includes web apps, dashboards and connections between their existing tools to improve how their businesses operate.

We have a very small team with some very large clients, mostly in the USA and Dubai. The development workload is growing, and I need someone I can trust to help us deliver great results.

𝗔𝗯𝗼𝘂𝘁 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗥𝗼𝗹𝗲:

You'll work directly with me to plan and build web apps, dashboards and automations with API integrations. There may also be occasional website or landing-page projects.

I'll design the AI features, and you'll build the apps around them and connect them through APIs, so you don't need experience building AI yourself.

AI has made software easier to build. We need someone who can turn a basic AI-generated result into an application that looks good, responds well and is easy to use.

You must understand how the code works and use your own judgement to plan the right solution. You should be comfortable questioning AI suggestions and checking its work.

At first, I may provide project plans. As you become familiar with our work, you'll take more responsibility for understanding client requirements, planning solutions and building them.

You'll have a technical founder to discuss decisions with, plus guidance on design and user experience.

𝗧𝗵𝗲 𝗢𝗽𝗽𝗼𝗿𝘁𝘂𝗻𝗶𝘁𝘆:

We encourage you to use 𝗖𝗹𝗮𝘂𝗱𝗲 𝗖𝗼𝗱𝗲 and will provide access to 𝗵𝗶𝗴𝗵𝗲𝗿-𝘁𝗶𝗲𝗿 𝘀𝘂𝗯𝘀𝗰𝗿𝗶𝗽𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝗽𝗹𝗮𝗻𝘀 to support your work. We also want to support learning that helps you develop your skills.

The role starts 𝗽𝗿𝗼𝗷𝗲𝗰𝘁 𝗯𝘆 𝗽𝗿𝗼𝗷𝗲𝗰𝘁, with some projects lasting several months. As work increases, our aim is to offer a full-time role as a core team member. This will depend on business needs and terms we agree together.

𝗞𝗲𝘆 𝗥𝗲𝘀𝗽𝗼𝗻𝘀𝗶𝗯𝗶𝗹𝗶𝘁𝗶𝗲𝘀:

• 𝗣𝗹𝗮𝗻: Understand client requirements and d ---------- how the solution should work.

• 𝗕𝘂𝗶𝗹𝗱: Create clear, attractive applications that work on desktop and mobile.

• 𝗖𝗼𝗻𝗻𝗲𝗰𝘁: Use APIs and webhooks to connect clients' tools, manage access and handle errors.

• 𝗖𝗵𝗲𝗰𝗸: Review AI-generated code and test that the application works correctly.

• 𝗗𝗲𝗹𝗶𝘃𝗲𝗿: Share progress, raise problems early and keep clear notes so others can maintain your work.

𝗪𝗵𝗮𝘁 𝗬𝗼𝘂'𝗹𝗹 𝗕𝗿𝗶𝗻𝗴:

• Experience building working web apps or dashboards.

• A good understanding of frontend and backend development, and how they work together.

• Practical experience connecting software through APIs.

• An understanding of databases for structured information and file storage for images, videos and documents.

• The ability to make technical decisions, solve problems and improve the user experience.

• Good English skills. You can understand written requirements, write clear messages and discuss your work in English.

• Reliability, attention to detail and a strong desire to keep learning.

𝗕𝗼𝗻𝘂𝘀 𝗣𝗼𝗶𝗻𝘁𝘀:

Experience with interface design, accessibility, AI coding tools or business automation.

𝗪𝗼𝗿𝗸𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗪𝗶𝘁𝗵 𝗨𝘀:

We'll agree on each project's requirements, delivery stages, fee and expected availability before work begins. But with the amount of work we are expecting soon, we do hope to provide a position full time if we like working with you.

You can choose when you work for greater flexibility (we understand there's a large time difference). However, you will need to be 'online' and available between 10am and 12pm GMT.

We like to build our own tools to make our lives easier, and improve our work. You'll have access to the internal software we build and high end courses we learn't from ourselves.

Selected applicants will receive a short quiz asking about their experience and portfolio. If we have a lot of strong candidates, you may be required for a 3rd practical stage.
