Freelance Video Editor (WFH & Part Time)

About the job:

At MoveUp Media , we run high-traffic media brands across sports and betting. We are looking for an experienced Freelance Video Editor to support the production of our podcast and social media video content. This is a flexible freelance role requiring approximately one day per week, or the equivalent number of hours spread across the week . Were happy for the successful candidate to manage their time around other commitments, provided agreed deadlines are met.

The Role

Youll be responsible for turning our recorded podcast content into polished, engaging videos ready for publication, as well as creating shorter-form content for ToffeeWebs social media channels. Our podcasts typically run between 15 and 45 minutes , and were looking for someone who can deliver professional, clean edits while maintaining consistent ToffeeWeb branding.

Your responsibilities will include:
- Editing podcast episodes of approximately 1545 minutes.
- Creating clean, professional edits with smooth transitions and good pacing.
- Ensuring ToffeeWeb branding is clear and consistent throughout each video.
- Working with podcast recordings produced using Riverside .
- Cutting full podcast episodes into multiple engaging short-form reels and clips .
- Optimising clips for use across ToffeeWebs social media channels.
- Identifying strong moments, talking points and hooks from longer conversations that will work effectively as standalone social content.
- Delivering completed content within agreed deadlines.

What Were Looking For

The ideal candidate will have:
- Proven experience editing podcasts, interviews or similar video content.
- Strong working knowledge of Adobe Premiere Pro .
- Experience working with Riverside recordings and workflows.
- A good understanding of editing content for social media and short-form video.
- An eye for pacing, transitions, branding and visual consistency.
- The ability to turn longer conversations into concise, engaging social clips.
- Strong attention to detail and the ability to work independently.
- Reliable communication and the ability to meet agreed turnaround times.

An interest in football and Everton would be advantageous, particularly when it comes to recognising the moments and talking points most likely to engage ToffeeWebs audience, but it isn't essential.
