We're looking for an experienced Freelance Grant Writer & Fundraising Consultant to help us identify funding opportunities, develop compelling proposals, and secure grants to expand our impact.
What you'll do
- Funding research: Identify relevant grant opportunities from foundations, corporate CSR programs, public funding institutions, and international donors.
- Grant writing: Develop high-quality funding proposals, concept notes, expressions of interest, and grant applications.
- Fundraising strategy: Build and maintain a pipeline of funding opportunities aligned with our mission and projects.
- Proposal development: Translate project ideas into compelling narratives, budgets, logical frameworks, and measurable impact indicators.
- Donor engagement: Support outreach, partnership development, and communication with prospective funders.
- Application management: Coordinate submission requirements, deadlines, supporting documentation, and follow-ups.

What we're looking for
- Proven experience in grant writing, institutional fundraising, or proposal development, ideally with a track record of successful applications.
- Familiarity with European and international funding ecosystems, including foundations, corporate philanthropy, EU funding, and development cooperation.
- Excellent written English; German is a strong advantage.
- Experience in education, employment, digital inclusion, migration, or international development is particularly relevant.
- Ability to work independently, manage deadlines, and turn early-stage ideas into fundable projects.
