Freelance Arena PLM / Document Control Specialist (WFH)

About the job:

We are looking for an experienced Arena PLM / Document Control Specialist for a freelance, remote opportunity .

The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with Arena PLM , document management, BOM administration, engineering change processes, and controlled documentation.

Key Responsibilities
- Manage product lifecycle data, technical documents, BOMs, drawings, specifications, and quality records within Arena PLM .
- Configure and maintain Arena PLM workflows, item structures, document controls, and user access.
- Manage ECR/ECO processes, including review, approval, implementation, and revision tracking.
- Maintain accurate revision history, document version control, and product data integrity.
- Support engineering, manufacturing, quality, regulatory, and supply-chain teams.
- Ensure controlled documentation follows established quality and compliance procedures.
- Provide user support and guidance on Arena PLM processes and best practices.
- Assist with audits, traceability, and compliance documentation.
- Identify and resolve document-control and PLM workflow issues.

Required Skills
- Hands-on experience with Arena PLM / Arena QMS .
- Strong understanding of Document Control and PLM processes .
- Experience managing BOMs, engineering documents, specifications, and revisions .
- Practical knowledge of ECR/ECO change management .
- Understanding of QMS, configuration management, and revision control .
- Experience working with engineering and manufacturing teams.
- Strong communication and documentation skills.
